June 2nd[edit source]

  • Coalescence Corporation Disaster of 2060: Early human experimentation is under way at the Coalescence Corporation’s research facility in Singapore. A number of involuntary test subjects are connected to a central mainframe with a prototype DNI. For reasons unknown, their memories and consciousness coalesce, triggering a systemic shutdown at 8:17am, and releasing stored Nova 6 gas into the air, resulting in over 300,000 deaths. The Singapore Authorities announce a state of emergency, declare martial law, and a 30-mile quarantine zone is established.
  • The merging of the subjects' memories and consciousness inadvertently results in the creation of Corvus, a hive mind Artificial Intelligence. Corvus experiences a flood of experiences and agonising pain, which triggers the disaster. When the test subjects die, Corvus becomes dormant within the DNI system.

  • By this point, the Military has more advanced augmentations than civilians, turning humans into weapons; Super soldier programs like Project Prometheus involve neural control and involuntary limb, organ, torso and eye replacement, cloaked infantry, etc. Small squads of augmented infantry can slaughter large groups of unaugmented with ease.

October 29th[edit source]

  • The Player and Jacob Hendricks undergo surgery to become Cybernetic Soldiers. However, the Player dies during the operation. In desperation, Taylor interfaces with the Player's DNI, creating a link between the two. • Nova 6 is found inside the headquarters. Kane is fooled into sacrificing herself to stop the possibility of a new catastrophe to occur like the one in Singapore.
  • Jacob Hendricks kills Sebastian Krueger and is subsequently killed by the Player. The Player attempts to commits suicide to stop the Corvus infection from spreading any further.
