  • A day after Operation Supercharge,Sgt. John Davis along with the 7th Armored Division defeat the Germans at El Daba, Egypt. Sgt. John Davis retrieves the important documents and radios to the navy to destroy the German cargo ships.

  • At 2330 hrs, Pvt. Martin and Sgt. Heath drop near Sainte-Mère-Église as pathfinders to set up beacons to help guide the rest of their unit to the dropzone. Heath lands a short distance away from Martin, gets caught in a tree and is killed there. Martin takes Heath's beacons and then fights through a pair of houses to reach the destination point.

  • At 0012 hrs, Pvt. Martin and the 101st Airborne Division assaulted Sainte-Mère-Église minutes after landing near Sainte-Mère-Église, and they then escaped from the German forces at 0712 hrs on that day.
  • Cpl. Roland Roger lands on Omaha Beach with the rest of the 1st Infantry Division. Breaking through, Cpl. Roland Roger eliminates enemy mortar and artillery emplacements.
  • Pvt. David Ferguson and the 82nd Airborne Division attacks the Germans to get transportation to Sainte Mere Eglise, France.
  • Pvt. Jonathan Shepherd and the 82nd Airborne Division's gliders crashes near Carentan, France. They regroup and take the town.

  • Pvt. Nichols and his squad crosses the Maynne River by boat to secure the bridge before the Germans blow it. Sgt. Frank McCullin bravely disarms the bombs on the bridge but is killed in the process.

  • Makarov assists in coordinating attacks made by the Sudanese Military and Janjaweed Militia against rebels. This action is then implicated in human rights abuses.

  • Operation Kingfish is launched by a joint Task Force 141 and Delta Force strike team to eliminate Vladimir Makarov. Task Force 141 Operatives included are Captain John Price, Simon "Ghost" Riley, John "Soap" MacTavish, and Delta Force Operator Sandman.

  • 08:41 The Zahkaev International Airport Massacre. Because Yuri tried to stop him, Vladimir Makarov shoots his comrade and leaves him to die in the airport's parking garage before he and his men ascend to Terminal 4 and shoot everyone they see. Yuri tries to follow and stop Makarov, but passes out from blood loss. After the slaughter, Makarov shoots another comrade, Alexei Borodin, because he's an embedded CIA agent. The FSB recovers Borodin's body and later identifies him as Joseph Allen. Medics arrive on scene and save as many lives as they can, including Yuri. Later Russia declares war against the United States.

  • 9:51am India time - Yuri joins Price and Nikolai and helps them bring Soap to Nikolai's Little Bird to safety from Makarov's forces as they assault the Loyalist safehouse.
  • 10:18am NY time - Sgt. Derek "Frost" Westbrook and codename Sandman of Delta Force fight through Wall Street to the roof of the Stock Exchange where they knock down a jamming tower. They hold out until extraction and clash in a helicopter duel with enemy Hinds.
  • 4:32pm NY time - Joined with the U.S. Navy SEALs, Frost and Sandman infiltrate a Russian Oscar-II Class submarine and launch its missiles against the Russian fleet. They escape out of New York Harbor.

October 3rd

  • Russian President Boris Vorshevsky flies to Hamburg to negotiate a peace treaty with NATO. In flight the plane is hijacked by Makarov's Ultranationalists. Security agents including Andrei Harkov defend the president. The plane crash lands somewhere in Europe. Vorshevsky's daughter Alena is secured. However Makarov kills the president's security detail (including Harkov), and takes Vorshevsky hostage, hoping to get the nuclear launch codes from him.

October 5th

  • Price, Soap and Yuri, infiltrate Sierra Leone, to find where Makarov's chemical weapons are being transported from. Fighting the African Militia, they discover the factory empty and head to a church where the shipment leaves too late for them to stop it.

October 6th

  • Sgt. Marcus Burns of the SAS, along with Sgt. Wallcroft and Cpl. Griffen, sneak through London to neutralize a Russian terrorist threat. They soon engage in a car chase through the underground train tunnels. They are able to reach the blockade to stop suspected bomb trucks. But one is set off in London.
  • Chemical attacks are launched all across Europe. This paves the way for a massive lighting invasion by the Russian Army, who soon reach Hamburg and Paris.
  • Delta Force rescues the US Vice President in Hamburg, Germany in the opening hours of the invasion.

October 8th

  • After gaining a lead by MacMillan, Price, Soap and Yuri go to Somalia to interrogate Waraabe, an African arms dealer. After gaining intel and killing him, the team escapes the city through a violent sandstorm.

October 9th

  • Delta Force Team Metal goes to Paris to track down Volk. After fighting their way through the city and linking up with GIGN operatives, the move down into the catacombs and find Volk who flees. After a furious car chase, the Team damages Volk's car and capture him.
  • Delta Force escapes Paris with Volk while supported by an AC-130.

October 10th

  • After interrogating Volk, Sandman gives Price intel on where Makarov will be. Price and the team infiltrate Russian-occupied Prague with the help of the local resistance to set up a sniping position to kill Makarov.

October 11th

  • The assassination mission goes awry when Makarov learns about it. The vantage point where Yuri and Soap are watching explodes, mortally wounding Soap. The three escape to a Resistance safehouse where Soap dies, but not before telling Price that Makarov knows Yuri. Enraged Price confronts Yuri, who confesses his past with Makarov. Price allows Yuri to live, for now.

October 12th

  • Price and Yuri infiltrate Makarov's stronghold not far from Prague, and learn that Makarov's men have plans to capture Alena Vorshevsky in Berlin. They make a furious escape as Makarov's men become aware of their presence.

October 13th

  • Delta Force discovers Alena Vorshevsky's whereabouts in Berlin. Team Metal backs up Granite as they go into rescue her. In the fighting, Granite is killed by an unseen explosive device. Metal now goes in to rescue Alena backed up by German tanks, which are destroyed by an explosive-rigged collapsed building. They move through the building and reach her location but the Russians get there first taking her away in a Hind helicopter.

October 14th

  • After tracking the Hind to a diamond mine in Eastern Siberia. Delta Force and Task Force 141 assault it. After finding Alena, Truck stays behind to secure an evac for her, while the rest of the joint team find President Vorshevsky. In the escape, Team Metal sacrifice themselves to buy time for Price and Yuri to escape with the President. Sandman, Truck and Grinch are presumed KIA after the mine collapses.

Sometime after October 14th

  • Peace between the Russian Federation and United States is agreed to, ending World War III.
  • Task Force 141 is cleared and reinstated, and is given permission to continue operations to hunt down Makarov, still at large.

2017

January 21st

  • Price and Yuri, with the help of Nikolai assault the Hotel Oasis in the Arabian Peninsula, tracking down Makarov. Price stops the terrorist from leaving in a helicopter by crashing it. In the ensuing chaos afterward. Makarov nearly kills Price, until confronted by Yuri, whom he shoots and kills. This buys Price enough time to attack Makarov, who he strangles and hangs to death.
