- Somewhere over the English Channel, James Doyle and his fellow crewmen are attacked by BF-109s while on a routine bombing mission over Holland.
- James Doyle along with Major Ingram and the Dutch Resistance fight their way to the train bridge, and James Doyle, with the permission of Major Ingram, destroyed the bridge while the train was crossing.
December 7th
- Japan attacks Pearl Harbor bringing The United States into World War II.
December 8th
- U.S.A., along with other Allied Powers, officially declares war against Japan.
December 11th
- Germany and Italy declare war against the U.S., who also responds with a declaration of war against Germany and Italy and the remaining Axis Powers.
December 17th
- Pvt. Vasili Ivanovich Koslov trains with his comrades right before the attack on Moscow.
- Battle of Moscow occurs.
1942
August 10th
- Pvt. Martin goes through training at Camp Toccoa, Georgia.
August 17th
- Pvt. Miller is saved by Carlsons Raiders and successfully destroys the Japanese Military Base on Makin Atoll.
September 17th
- Pvt. Dimitri Petrenko escapes the fountain massacre in Stalingrad and meets up with Sgt. Reznov, the two escape from a German patrol, and meets with an attacking Soviet force. Petrenko finds and assassinates the man responsible for the massacre, Gen. Amsel
September 18th
- Pvt. Alexei Ivanovich Voronin and his comrades helplessly find cover against four MG-42s.
- While the Red Army charged at the Red Square, Alexei Ivanovich Voronin sneaks in a building and snipes the German spotters.
September 20th
- Pvt. Aleksandr Sokolov crosses the Volga into Stalingrad. He then takes a refinery under the command of Sgt. Oleg Puskov. Under the orders of Lt. Tanya Pavelonva, he leads the charge up Mamayev Kurgan taking the hill.
October 3rd
- Lt. Tanya Pavelonva, along with Pvt. Sokolov, navigates through Stalingrad's sewers to reach a Tractor Factory. Tanya provides sniper fire to protect the building and the T-34 Tank inside. The tank crew led by Lt. Nikolai Badanov reaches the factory, and the group escapes.
- While repairing the tank, the Russian squad comes under fire from German forces. Tanya Pavelonva is wounded but carried to safety. Lt. Badanov is ordered to take back Red Square. Nikolai gives a radio to the forward observers allowing a Katyusha rocket strike to destroy an approaching German panzer column.
October 29th
- Sgt. John Davis and the 7th Armoured Division create a diversion by blowing up crates in order to get the important documents.
- Sgt. John Davis and the 7th Armoured Division must repel the enemy attacks if they want to leave the area alive.
November 3rd
- Towards the end of Operation Supercharge, Sgt. John Davis and the 7th Armoured Division broke the enemy line by using the tanks as cover. Sgt. John Davis finally radios the high command to tell them that the mission was a success.
November 6th
- A day after Operation Supercharge, Sgt. John Davis along with the 7th Armoured Division defeat the Germans at El Daba, Egypt. Sgt. John Davis retrieves the important documents and radios to the navy to destroy the German cargo ships.
November 8th
- Pvt. Roland Roger lands with the rest of his squad in Oran to take an airfield from Vichy French forces.
- Airman "Stretch" Roger participates in a bombing raid on an oil refinery in Tunisia.
November 9th
- Jr Sgt. Alexei Ivanovich Voronin goes through the sewers of Stalingrad to meet up with Yakov Pavlov at an apartment building that is being occupied by German soldiers. Jr Sgt. Alexei Ivanovich Voronin and the Red Army assault and defend the apartment building from enemy tanks.
December 2nd
- Pvt. Vasili Ivanovich Koslov and the Red Army fight their way past Red Square to demolish a building that is occupied by enemy soldiers.
December 8th
- Pvt. Vasili Ivanovich Koslov is given the task to repair the communication wire while under heavy fire.
- Pvt. Vasili Ivanovich Koslov and the Red Army took over the railroad station in Stalingrad.
December 24th
- Maj. Nikolai Badanov leads an attack on a German airbase in Tatsinskaya as part of Operation Little Saturn. The attack destroys much of the resupply aircraft to the 6th Army in Stalingrad, as well as capturing the airbase.
1943
January 15th
- Pvt. Vasili Ivanovich Koslov and the Red Army assault the center of Stalingrad and defend it against waves of German soldiers.
- End of the Battle of Stalingrad.
- Tank Commander David Welsh and the 7th Armoured Division tanks battled enemy tanks and flanked the Flak 88 guns in Libya.
January 22nd
- Edward Carlyle's unit of the PPA destroys a German fuel depot in Matmata, Tunisia.
January 23rd
- Edward Carlyle and Sgt. Bob Starkey are ambushed by German troops near Ksar Tarsine. They escape and reinforce a unit trying to capture a German fortresses and rescue Pvt. Allen Rowe and Sgt. James Dehart.
February 13th
- Pvt. Roland Roger takes a ride in a Stuart Light Tank during the drive into Tunisia.
February 19th
- Pvt. Roland Roger's squad is attacked by the Afrika Korps in the Battle of the Kasserine Pass. His unit manages to hold off the counterattack, while escorting an engineer unit to disarm a German minefield, and recapture an artillery emplacement.
February 22nd
- Pvt. Roland Roger's squad defends the town of Kasserine from a German assault until American medics leave the area, then they fall back.
March 10th
- Sgt. John Davis and the 7th Armoured Division barely escape the city of Toujane in an enemy armored car while picking off a few Panzerschrecks.
March 11th
- Sgt. John Davis and the 7th Armoured Division retook Toujane by taking over the most important sectors and defeating the German forces that occupied the city.
March 30th
- Sgt. John Davis and the 7th Armoured Division assaulted the town "Matmata" and defeated German soldiers. They then defended the town from BF-109 dive bombers.
July 4th
- Pvt. Yuri Petrenko and the Red Army defeated Wermacht soldiers and blew up "Elephant" Tanks on the frontline of the Battle of Kursk.
July 10th
- Pvt. Roland Roger's squad lands in Sicily and assaults Italian positions on the beach, moving inland they rescue an isolated unit of paratroops in the town of Gela.
July 11th
- Pvt. Yuri Petrenko and the Red Army fight their way to a tank factory in Ponyri destroying an enemy tank and eventually destroying another enemy tank that attacks them in the factory.
- Pvt. Roland Roger's squad moves up to reinforce paratroops at Piano Lupo. Roger single-handed destroys eight Panzer IV tanks of the Herman Goering Division. He coordinates naval gunfire to destroy approaching Tiger tanks. For his actions he gets promoted to the rank of Corporal.
July 12th
- Sgt. James Doyle with Major Ingram, Hoover, Luyties (British), Denny and Moditch destroyed the lighthouse and the battery guns on Sicily, and they also disabled the communications equipment. They also found important documents. Sgt. James Doyle and Major Ingram were the only SAS members alive that were making their getaway.
- Pvt.Yuri Petrenko is transferred to the 2nd Guards Tank Division and they head to Prokhorovka.
August 5th
- Cpl. Roland Roger's squad fight in the Battle of Troina. Pvt. Denley is killed in action.
August 22nd
- Pvt. Yuri Petrenko and the Red Army fight and defeat the German forces in the heart of Kharkov.
- Pvt. Yuri Petrenko and the Red Army assault the trainyard in Kharkov while taking cover from Stukas.
1944
June 5
- At 2330 hrs, Pvt. Martin is the only one from his division to be dropped near Sainte-Mère-Église. He then sets up a beacon that he took from Sgt. Heath.
June 6
- D-Day: The Allies invade Western Europe at Normandy, France
- At 0012 hrs, Pvt. Martin and the 101st Airborne Division assaulted Sainte-Mère-Église minutes after landing near Sainte-Mère-Église, and they then escaped from the German forces at 0712 hrs on that day.
- Sgt. Jack Evans and the 6th Airborne Division landed near the Pegasus Bridge and fought and defeated the German forces on the afternoon of that day.
- Cpl. Bill Taylor and the 2nd Ranger Battalion climbed the cliffs of Normandy only to find no coastal battery guns.
- Cpl. Bill Taylor and the 2nd Ranger Battalion destroyed the guns and held off the German forces until extra support came.
- Pvt. Martin and the 101st Airborne Division fought their way to Brécourt Manor and destroyed a Flak 88 gun that seemed to have been the one bombarding "Utah" beach.
- Cpl. Roland Roger lands on Omaha Beach with the rest of the 1st Infantry Division. Breaking through, he eliminates enemy mortar and artillery emplacements.
June 7th
- Cpl. Bill Taylor and the 2nd Ranger Battalion successfully defended the Pointe and retreated to the trenches to hold off the German forces until extra support came.
July 14th
- Cpl. Bill Taylor and the 2nd Ranger Battalion fought their way to the Silo. They successfully defended the town from German mortar teams.
July 19th
- Newly arrived Pvt. Nichols participated with the 29th Infantry Division in capturing St. Lo.
July 22nd
- Maj Ingram, Cpl. Keith, and Sgt. James Doyle land near Touchy, France. They regroup and meet up with a French Resistance group and eliminate German Flak positions.
July 26th
- Pvt. Nichols's squad attacks and eliminates German positions in St. Germain allowing the Allied advance to continue.
August 1st
- In a daring night attack, Pte. Cole's unit attacks the German lines knocking out an artillery battery as well as taking and holding an industrial complex against German counterattacks.
August 5th
- Pvt. Nichols's squad crosses the Maynne River by boat to secure the bridge before the Germans blow it. Sgt. Frank McCullin bravely disarms the bombs on the bridge but is killed in action.
August 7th
- Pvt. Martin and the 101st Airborne Division assaulted the Chateau, killing every German soldier, and rescuing Capt. Price, who then gave the 101st Airborne Division information on where Major Ingram is being held.
August 8th
- Pvt. Bohater's Polish unit moves out from St. Aignan-de-Cramesnil, France and engages the enemy. Their tank encircles and destroys a King Tiger tank known as The Black Baron.
August 9th
- Sgt. James Doyle and the combined SAS/French Resistance team attack and destroy a German fuel plant near Autun, France. Maj. Ingram however is missing in action during the escape.
August 11th
- Pvt. Nichols's squad moves through the Foret d'Ecouves, clear the way for 2nd Battalion. The units destroys many German strongpoints and roadblocks under heavy fire.
August 14th
- Pte. Cole's squad crosses the Laison River and takes out German positions on the other bank allowing the Allied advance to continue.
August 18th
- Pvt. Nichols's and his squad capture the crossroads at Le Bourg-St.-Leonard, from the Germans.
August 20th
- Near Les Ormes, France, Sgt. James Doyle, with Cpl. Keith, alongside the French Resistance, rescue Maj. Ingram and three other Maquis prisoners. During the defense of the safehouse, Isabelle DuFontaine is killed in action.
- Lt. Robiechauld, along with Sgt. Callard, and Pte. Cole rescue trapped Canadian tankers in a tavern in St. Lambert, and hold the town off from frantic German counterattacks. Sgt. Callard is killed when setting off the explosives to destroy a German King Tiger tank, he is put in for the Victoria Cross and Cole is promoted to Corporal.
- Pvt. Bohater along with his Polish tank crew hold off several German attacks on Mt. Ormel (Hill 262), until relieved by Canadian forces.
- Pvt. Nichols with the rest of the squad fight desperately in Chambois to prevent the Germans from escaping the Falaise Gap. Sgt. Dixon is killed in action.
September 2nd
- Sgt. Jack Evans is sent on a sabotage mission to disable the AA guns on and near Eder Dam.
- Sgt. Jack Evans, Waters, and Price make it to the nearest airfield after Waters blows up the wooden bridge. At the airfield, Sgt. Jack Evans must use AA gun to destroy any Stukas flying or Stukas that are taking off.
- Sgt. Roland Roger fights with his squad in Maubeuge, France. He is wounded by a German mortar shell.
September 4th
- After his quick recovery, Sgt. Roland Roger joins Sgt. Glenn Hawkins and his squad in a patrol of Mons in Belgium. The unit lands in an ambush an holds out for support. Then they are ordered to destroy Flak emplacements "raining hell down on the assault force".
September 14th
- Sgt. Roland Roger, Sgt. Stephen Kelly, and Cpl. John Jackson Smith take part in a mission to destroy the German series of trenches on Crucifix Hill near Eilendorf Ridge, Germany.
September 15th
- Pvt. Miller lands with the rest of his squad on the island of Peleliu. Sgt. Sullivan is killed by a Japanese Banzai charger. Roebuck is promoted to sergeant. He then takes the Japanese airfield, as well as eliminates enemy mortar crews attacking the American tanks.
September 16th
- Pvt. Miller's squad attacks Japanese positions on The Point, eventually entering the cave network and eliminating the heavy gun crews.
September 18th
- Pvt. Martin and the 101st Airborne Division rescue Major Ingram from Dulag IIIA in Austria.
October 21st
- Sgt. Chuck Walker's squad helps take the city of Aachen.
October 27th
- Sgt. Jack Evans and Cpt. Price successfully sneaked onto the famous battleship Tirpitz, but Price is killed in the armory in the Tirpitz, leaving Sgt. Jack Evans to retrieve the German Captain's log book and escape off of the ship alive.
December 6th
- Cpl. Bill Taylor and the 2nd Ranger Battalion fought their way to Hill 400 killing German soldiers on the way.
December 7th
- Cpl. Bill Taylor and the 2nd Ranger Battalion made their way to the top of Hill 400 under heavy fire from MG-42 and mortar rounds.
December 8th
- Cpl. Bill Taylor and what was left of the 2nd Ranger Battalion fought and defeated the German soldiers and tanks, and they were helped at the end by P-51 Mustangs.
December 16th
- The Germans launch a counteroffensive against the Americans in the Ardennes Forest, starting the Battle of the Bulge.
December 19th
- The 101st Airborne is sent to Bastogne to prevent its capture from the Germans at all costs.
December 26th
- Cpl. Riley and the 101st Airborne Division fend off wave after wave of German soldiers and tanks, and are relieved by Allied tanks and planes.
1945
January 5th
- Cpl. Riley and the 101st Airborne Division rescued Allied prisoners and ambushed an enemy convoy.
January 9th
- Sgt. Sam Rivers leads an attack that captures the town of Tillet, cutting off the German assault on Bastogne.
January 13th
- Cpl. Riley and the 101st Airborne Division assaulted the town Foy and destroyed the Flak 88 gun that you were being bombarded by. Pvt. Riley disables the Tiger Tank and takes out the Panzerschreck team and destroys an enemy tank in the barn.
January 15th
- Pvt. Martin along with Cpt. Foley assaults a German bunker complex gathering documents of a V2 launch site.
- Cpl. Riley and the 101st Airborne Division assaulted and defended Noville from incoming enemy tanks and halftracks.
January 17th
- Junior Sgt. Alexei Ivanovich Voronin is promoted to the rank of Sergeant and reassigned to the 150th Rifle Division, and sent to Poland, where he helps capture key German tank repair facilities in Warsaw.
January 19th
- Sgt. Roland Roger's squad takes the town of Bucholtz, and breaks through the Siegfried Line.
January 26th
- Sgt. Alexei Ivanovich Voronin is transferred to the 2nd Guards Tank Army and uses a T-34/85 Medium Tank to push the German forces past the Oder River. The 2nd Guards Tank Army secured the town near the Oder river destroying the Flak 88 guns, and also destroying the Flakpanzer anti-aircraft gun.
February 2nd
- Sgt. Jack Evans and the British 6th Airborne Division destroyed a German V2 Rocket base in Burgsteinfurt, Germany.
March 24th
- Cpl. Bill Taylor and the 2nd Ranger Battalion reached Wallendar, Germany, and then defeated the German forces.
April 3rd
- PO Locke's PBY attacks a convoy of Japanese transport ships off Okinawa, flying back to the fleet they come under attack by Japanese Zeros, and rescues sailors whose ships had been destroyed by Japanese kamikazes.
April 7th
- Lt. Chuck Walker leads an attack to capture the bridge at Remagen.
April 18th
- After being captured in a previous engagement, Pvt. Dimitri Petrenko is rescued by Sgt. Reznov and participates with his squad in the attack on Seelow Heights. Dimitri later is given control of a T-34 tank and destroys enemy Panzer tanks, as well as a communications antenna and reaches a train station. Here he and Reznov with their squad board a train heading toward the outskirts of Berlin.
April 23rd
- Sgt. Reznov and Pvt. Dimitri Petrenko attack the Berlin suburb of Pankow, Germany and destroy the defending force, including those in the asylum, and reach Berlin.
April 24th
- Pvt. Dimitri Petrenko's squad continues the attack in Berlin fighting from building to building. They attack the Germans hiding in the Metro under, and drive them out. In a desperate move the Germans flood the Metro.
April 30th
- After recovering from the Metro attack, Pvt. Dimitri Petrenko and his squad fight their way to the Reichstag, where Petrenko destroys the artillery guarding the building. Once inside they exterminate the remaining Germans, and fly the Soviet flag over the roof.
- Sgt. Alexei Ivanovich Voronin and the Red Army fought their way killing German soldiers, destroying Flak 88 guns and even destroying an enemy tank on their way to the Reichstag where they raised the flag of the "Motherland".
May 8th
- Germany surrenders to the Allies.
May 14th
- Pvt. Miller and his Marine squad on Okinawa attack the Japanese defenses on Wana Ridge.
May 29th
- Barely resupplied, Pvt. Miller's squad attacks and captures Shuri Castle, the last main Japanese strongpoint on Okinawa.
June 21st
- Okinawa is declared secure by US forces.
August 6th
The Enola Gay drops the Little Boy Bomb on Hiroshima
August 14th
- Japan surrenders to the Allies ending World War II.
Sometime after World War Two...
- First reported sighting of the Nazi Zombies post the Der Riese incident, Known only as "Nacht Der Untoten"
- Second sighting reported at the Berlin Wittenau Sanatorium.
- Third sighting reported at Shi No Numa Asian Research Facility
- Fourth and so-far final reporting at Der Riese again.
1986
April 26th
- The Chernobyl nuclear power plant in the Ukraine explodes, causing large amounts of radiation in surrounding areas, including Prypiat.
1989
- The Berlin Wall in Germany is torn down.
- Soviet Union, and Soviet Friendly Democratic Republic of Afghanistan loses the Soviet War in Afghanistan to Mujahadeen guerrilla forces, supported by several' Arabic nations, China, and also funding for weapons from the U.K. and United States.
1991
- The Soviet Union collapses. The Cold War Ends
- The Gulf War ends, with NATO and an Arabic forces defeating Iraq'. U.N. imposes sanctions against Iraq.
1996
- Lt. Price along side Cpt. MacMillian infiltrate Pripyat, Ukraine, and attempt to assassinate Imran Zakhaev. MacMillian is wounded during the escape but the two are able to reach their LZ and are transported out of harm's way.
- Afghan Civil War begins, Taliban movement takes control of Afghanistan.
2001
- September 11, 4 commercial jet aircraft are hijacked by Al-Qaeda terrorists. Two planes crash into the World Trade Center Towers, as one crashes into the Pentagon. The 4th, United Airlines Flight 93, crashes near Stonycreek, Pennsylvania, after the passengers revolted against the hijackers. Over 3000 people, including civilians, police, and Firefighters are killed either in the crashes, fires, or from the buildings collapsing.
- United States, as well as NATO forces, begin "Operation: Enduring Freedom". They invade Afghanistan, hunting down Al-Qaeda and Taliban forces and Al-Qada leader, Osama bin Laden, as well as other leaders of Al-Qada who assisted in terrorist operations, including the 9/11 hijackings.
- The War on Terrorism begins, led primarily by the United States, the United Kingdom and several of their allies, against terrorism, notably, Islamic terrorist/militant cells.
2003
March 1st
- Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the alleged mastermind behind the 9/11 Attacks is arrested in Pakistan by the Pakistani ISI, in a possible joint operation with the U.S. Diplomatic Security Service, where he is then handed over to the CIA. Almost 5 years latter, he is charged with committing War Crimes, and mass murder of civilian's by a U.S. Military Commission, and faces the death penalty if found guilty.
March 20th
- The U.S. invades Iraq, the Iraq War (Second Gulf War) begins.
Sometime before/up to 2011
- The Russian Ultranationalist Party is formed, led by Imran Zakhaev.
- The Second Russian Civil War begins, between Russian government Loyalists and Russian Ultranationalist rebels.
2011
Day 1
- Sgt. Soap MacTavish, Cpt. Price, Gaz and the rest of their SAS team infiltrate an Estonian freighter in the Bering Sea, which is carrying nuclear material from the Ultranationalists to Al-Asad.
- In a bloody coup d'état, Khaled Al-Asad takes over in a Middle Eastern country backed by Imran Zakhaev. He personally executes President Al-Fulani.
Day 2
- Soap MacTavish and his SAS are infiltrated into the Caucasus Mountains, to rescue the informant Nikolai from Ultranationalist forces. They provide Sgt. Kamarov support for his attack on the village where Nikolai is being held.
- The helicopter carrying the SAS is destroyed by a SAM missile. The team with Nikolai continue on foot to the next available LZ, fighting through a large Ultranationalist force. They are supported by an AC-130 gunship, call sign "Warhammer"/"Wildfire" until rescued.
- Lt. Vasquez's Marines invade Al-Asad's country leading the Allied Force, on the coastal city they attack OpFor forces an take the TV station where Al-Asad was supposed to be, Al-Asad is still missing.
Day 3
- Sgt. Paul Jackson, under the command of Lt. Vasquez, break through to a disabled M1 Abrams Tank called War Pig in the Bog.
- After rescuing War Pig, Sgt. Paul Jackson with his squad returns to the Allied attack on OpFor with War Pig in support, hoping to drive Al-Asad's forces back to the Capital City, where they would be surrounded. In the attack on the Capital City, Al-Asad's forces detonate a nuclear weapon killing most of the Allied force and Jackson's unit. Only SSgt. Griggs escapes because he was not in proximity to the blast at the time.
Day 4
- Soap MacTavish and his SAS unit infiltrate into Azerbaijan to locate Al-Asad. They join up with a Loyalist unit which provides support. The SAS team succeeds in taking the village and the safehouse where Al-Asad is. Cpt. Price interrogates the man to find out the origin of the nuclear weapon. Al-Asad phone rings, revealing Imran Zakhaev to be behind the whole plot. Price then executes Al-Asad.
- Eight hours after Al-Asad's death, Ultranationalist forces attack the village where the SAS team is. After holding off and breaking through the brutal assault. The team is rescued by a team of US Marines lead by SSgt. Griggs.
Day 5
- The combined SAS/Marine team infiltrates into Southern Russia, to find Victor Zakhaev and disguises itself as Ultranationalist troops. The ambush succeeds but Victor flees on foot, Soap chases after him, until reaching a roof with no way out. Victor commits suicide, rather than surrender.
Day 6
- After a warning from Imran Zakhaev, the team lands in the Altay Mountains in Russia to capture a launch facility used by Ultranationalists troops. The SAS rescue Griggs who was captured by Ultranationalist troops. They then proceed to the launch facility where two nuclear missiles are launched. Fighting their way into the facility, the team gains access to launch control where Soap aborts the launch. The team flees as more enemy troops approach. In the ensuing chase the team is knocked out by a Mi-24 helicopter and Zakhaev comes to execute them all, distracted by the arrival of Loyalist forces allows Soap to kill the man and his entourage.
Between 2011 and 2016
- Vladimir Makarov becomes the new head of the Russian Ultranationalist Party, and commits various acts of terrorism. Begins working with the black market arms dealer Alejandro Rojas for weaponry.
- The Russian Ultranationalist Party defeats Russian Loyalist, both militarily and politically, in the Second Russian Civil War, securing seats in power as high as the Kremlin.
- Imran Zakhaev is turned into a martyr of Russia, a statue is built in his memory.
- SAS Captain John Price, is listed as M.I.A. and is incarcerated in a Russian Gulag for several years.
- SAS team member "Soap" Mactavish is promoted to Captain.
- The International Task Force 141 is created, consisting of U.S., Canadian, British, and Australian forces. Amongst it's Special Force members, include U.S. Army Rangers,U.S. Navy SEALs, and Britain's SAS, as well as Intelligence gathering from undercover agents, such as the CIA. It also includes veterans of the events of 2011, such as Captain Soap Mactavish. General Shepherd takes command of TF141.
2016

Day 1
- Private First Class Joseph Allen helps Sergeant Foley train Afghan troops at Firebase Phoenix in Afghanistan.
- Pvt. Allen and the U.S. Army Rangers take a town in Afghanistan against the OpFor. General Shepherd hand-picks Pvt. Allen to be reassigned with the C.I.A.
Sometime post Day 1:
- Sgt. Foley, Cpl. Dunn, and the rest of the 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment is rotated out of Afghanistan, and return home to the United States.
Day 2
- Captain "Soap" MacTavish and Sgt. Gary "Roach" Sanderson assault an Ultranationalist airbase in the Tian Shan mountains of Kazakhstan. They retrieve data from an ACS Module and escape on snowmobiles.
Day 3
- A small group of Ultranationalists under Makarov, one of them being Alexei Borodin (Pvt. Allen, undercover C.I.A.), inflicts a terrorist attack on Zakhaev International Airport, killing hundreds of civilians and FSB. Before Makarov escapes, he kills Allen, having known his true identity. His discovered American corpse would spark the Russian invasion on the United States East Coast.
Day 4
- After receiving data for Rojas, Task Force 141 journeys to Rio De Janiero to capture him. First Roach shoots Rojas's associate, Faust in the leg. Afterward, Soap and Ghost interrogate Faust while the rest of the team chases Rojas into the favela. Meat is killed in the action and Royce is pinned down. Finally Ghost says that he's escaped but then Soap crashes through a window with Rojas in his grip and confirms that he is captured. [1]
- In response to what they believe to be an American-supported terrorist attack, Russia declares war on the United States, starting the Russian-American War, and invades the East Coast. Private James Ramirez of the U.S. Army Rangers under Sgt. Foley helps locate and protect codename Raptor in Northeastern Virginia while also defending against the invading Russians.
- Task Force 141 escapes Rio De Janiero from some 200 Militia with the help of Nikolai. With Rojas' info, they learn about Makarov's most hated individual being held in a gulag in Russia and are sent by General Shepherd to retrieve him.
- Through the streets of Northeastern Virginia, Pvt. Ramirez's team assists the civilian evacuations whilst neutralizing anti-air guns and more Russian personnel.
Day 5
- On Vikhorevka 36 Oil Platform near the coast of Russia Task Force 141 rescues hostages as U.S. Marines disable SAM Sites.
- 40 miles East of Petropavlosk, Russia, with the help of the U.S. Navy, Task Force 141 extracts Prisoner #627 (Captain Price) from the Gulag.
- As the war rages into the capital city of Washington, D.C., Pvt. Ramirez defends the Washington Monument evac site from the fifth floor of the Dept. of Commerce. Ramirez's team is evacuated but gets shot down by Russian SAM's, there they defend their position from oncoming Russian forces.
- Capt. Price leads Task Force 141 to infiltrate a Russian submarine docked 14 miles SSE of Petropavlosk, Russia. Capt. Price launches an ICBM and detonates it in the atmosphere over the U.S. East Coast as an EMP that cripples both U.S. and Russian forces, ensuring the survival of Pvt. Ramirez and Sgt. Foley's team in D.C.
- Sgt. Foley leads his team through the Eisenhower Building to retake Whiskey Hotel (the White House).
Day 6
- Soap and Price hunt for Makarov in Kandahar, Afghanistan, Ghost and Roach at the Georgia-Russia border.
- Ghost and Roach, having not found Makarov at his safehouse, copy files from his computer. After defending the house from Russian forces, Ghost and Roach reach the extraction point, but are betrayed and killed by General Shepherd, who starts his own, personal war to eliminate proofs of his actions. Their bodies are burned afterward.
- Soap and Price are attacked by Shepherd's new Shadow Company, but they are also caught in the cross-fire with Makarov's men. A three-way battle ensues as Price reveals Shepherd's betrayal to Makarov, in which Makarov gives Price the whereabouts of Site Hotel Bravo, Shepherd's Shadow Company base in Afghanistan. Soap and Price escape in a jeep on board Nikolai's plane.
- Former SAS/TF141 Captains John Price, and "Soap" Mactavish, are declared wanted War Criminals, Global Manhunt begins for the two.
- Vladimir Makarov goes into hiding.
Day 7
- Soap and Price infiltrate Site Hotel Bravo in Afghanistan, encountering numerous Shadow Company and OpFor soldiers along the way.
