Shangri-La Edit

I'm not sure how many will agree with me, but do we have to put Brock and Gary (from the Shangri-La easter egg) in the "Unknown" category? I know we don't know the exact date it happened, but we know that RIchtofen has already been to Shangri-La by the time they get there because his name is on the pedastal. Is it possible that we put it "Sometime after (I forget what the date is that he teleported to Shangri-La after Scheuster sent him)." Y'know? Again, some may not agree with me. But anyway, I won't make this edit unless I'm given permission. Thanks. - Harold "The Party" Rocks talk 13:17, August 30, 2011 (UTC)

CotD Time setting Edit

Do we really even know if it is set in 2013? DJ-2Metlman TalkDJ-2 03:17, September 22, 2011 (UTC)

We do know when then go back to time when the eclipes come there in the same time as in der riese

--Cold War weapons did not exist in the 1940s, so no.

German Airfiled? Edit

What's with the outbreak of the German Airfield? Naucht Der Untoten was the first map period. Richtofen and the gang (excluding Dempsy; no idea why he's in Naucht and Verruct with Richtofen's gang) probably arrived a day or so (maybe sooner) later after the marines left to Verruct through the woods. From there they, too, fled to Verruct in hopes of finding Peter, but instead find he's at Shi No Numa and that all the marines but Dempsey have died (which proves he's a badass XD).

reply: You do know that Dempsey was one of the Marines in Verrect, right? So, if they crossed the forset from Natch, that means that we've been with him the entire time. Also, Treyarch replaced the marines with Richtofen and the guys probably because they didn't want to use the Marine character models, and instead used Richtofen and the guys' models.

Years? Edit

How do we know that the events that occur in BO2 Zombies are in the year 2025? There isn't any indication that those weapons were made specifically in the year 2025.

Exactly. The events of Nuketown Zombies are definitely not in the year 2025. The mushroom cloud from the nuke is still there. Meaning that the events of this map take place right after the nuke was set off.   I know that TranZit is not in 2025 aswell. For one, the architecture of the buildings is a dead giveaway. Just look at the diner. It screams classic 60's. The cars on the map and the clothes of the civilian zombies are also a dead giveaway that the map takes place in the 60's. Remember, just becuase the Campaign and Multiplayer take place in 2025, does not in anyway mean that the event's of zombies do. Pretty sure advanced robotic bus drivers didn't exist in the 60's and nuke town and tranzit take place at the same time because marlton is in the bunker and you can hear the bus in the background, just because nuke town is designed like a 60's town doesn't mean it took place on the 60's also they could have dropped a second nuke or maybe in the zombies timeline the black ops 1 match never happened.  ZOMBIE BAIT 368 (talk) 17:20, December 3, 2012 (UTC)

Totally agree with you, Nuketown zombies is basesd around 1960s which means Moon is also in 1960s. Call of the dead is in the future (1996) shangri la, we have no clue, Die rise is 1996+ too, remember they can time travel. Averycleverguy 02:32, August 31, 2013 (UTC)

err i think the fact that its in 2025 is plausable because there was 4 missiles directed at earth so....i dont think they would build any buildings so yeah they seem like from the 60s but they are very unstable, and crumbling

and it would make no sense for treyarch to make a whole video-game in one setting and then go like 30 years back (more or less) for zombies...

Reply: The Nuketown Zombies mushroom cloud appears right after the detonation of the regular 1960s Nuketown match from Black Ops 1, signifying Tranzit and Moon take place directly afterwards, and before 2000s. The Green Run Group must've traveled to Die Rise through Time Travel and teleporting as well.

Shouldn't KDT be in the 1965-1969 section? Edit

Because right now it says that the events of Kino take place in 1969, which doesn't make sense. If you go the Alley in Kino (where Double Tap is) you can see the Fernsehturm, which didn't start construction until 1965, so why would Kino be in 1969? Also, the Fernsehturm looks like its in its finishing stages, so Kino actually might take place in either 1968 or 1969. So, it basically means that Richtofen and the gang time travel again, but to Ascension, which takes place in either 1962 or 1963 (do to the fact that Ascension takes place at the same time as "Five", which is most likley before the JFK's assassination)

CotD yearEdit

So people keep putting CotD in the Unknown area, I believe and have evidence that the year is indeed, 2011.

So the reason why I say this is because if it were in, say, 2004 or even 2013 (as a previous stated by someone above me), wouldn't you think that Trejo, Rooker, Sarah Gellar and Robert England would appear older/younger? Also, because the map was released in 2011, it would make sense that the map, takes place in 2011. Now thats just what I believe, but the point being, is that CotD most likely takes place in 2011, and not in the '21 Century' or unknown, as most people say, because, obviously in the 21 century, but what year? Can't be 2013, just because thats the year its right now. It definitly can't be 2025, because, George (the director) would be dead by then.

So, if anyone disagrees with me that CotD takes place in 2011, then post a reply below

Moon/Nuketown Zombies Time Period Edit

Well, I'm not sure if many people knew this or not, but I've come up with a theory. Nuketown (the map) is in Black Ops 1, wich takes place in the early to late 1960s. Since the detonation occurs inside Nuketown, and the zombies start running rampant in the area, the time period of both Moon and Nuketown (since they take place at the same time) should be somewhere in the 1960s. The characters have time traveled many times back and forth after all, and it makes perfect sense.

Also, since the destruction of Earth occured during Moon/Nuketown Zombies, the TranZit group have come to Washington to fight off the horde there, the matching time period can also be sometime in the 1960s-1970s, hence the very old appearance of the map. Richtofen has sent them through the NAV Table to Die Rise, possibly allowing them to travel through time as well. 19:53, June 24, 2013 (UTC)StarComradeMark

Two Sperate Zombies Timeline Pages?Edit

Should we create two sperate Zombies Timeline pages? One about the Original Timeline, and another about the Altered Timeline? They can be called Zombies Timeline 1 and 2, or Zombie Timeline (Original) and Zombies Timeline (Altered). {CFunk999 (talk) 01:00, November 21, 2016 (UTC)}
