"Automatic SMG with a smaller magazine and a moderate damage output."
— Description

The Proto-X1 (or Tokyo Arsenal 1927, as seen in the game files) is a submachine gun that was added in Call of Duty: WWII with the Shadow War update.

Multiplayer[]

Initially, the Proto-X1 and the VMG 1927 could only be obtained through the Wanderlust basic training, but following the Covert Storm event they were made available for selection in the Divisions.

Nazi Zombies[]

The Proto-X1 is available from the Mystery Box in all maps for 1,000 Jolts and from the Submachine gun Waffenbox in The Tortured Path for 2,000 Jolts. When upgraded either by the Ubersprengen or via the Freefire perk "MK. II" it becomes the Dead Leaves gaining an increase base magazine size of 70, maximum reserve ammo increase to 480 rounds and increased damage.
