The R70 Ajax is a light machine gun featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops III that was added in the July 28, 2016 update. It is obtainable through Supply Drops in the Black Market.
Unlike other weapons, the R70 Ajax does not have a reloadable magazine, nor does it have any magazine-altering attachments such as Fast Mags or Extended Mags. Instead, it slowly 3D prints bullets directly into the weapon, similar to the IMR from Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, essentially giving the weapon an endless supply of ammunition.
There is a delay between when the gun stops firing and when the 3D Printer activates. Should the weapon's ammo deplete completely, there is an overheat delay before the weapon can resume firing. It takes 16 seconds to fully print the magazine, making it the slowest 'reloading' weapon in the entire franchise.
Because of its unlimited ammo and lack of a traditional magazine, the perk Scavenger does not give any benefit to this weapon.
