"I can't believe it. It's happened! I'm finally being freed. I'm not sure how long I've been here, but clearly it can't have been longer than a few days. Thank you for your help. I have a chance to prove myself. Make amends, live a better life! It is all thanks to you."
— Remus after being freed.

Remus is a character featured in the Chaos story of Treyarch's Zombies mode. He can be heard in the map IX from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

Remus is a member of The Order and the apprentice of Tiberius. Remus created the Brazen Bull, neglecting the work assigned to him. He also stole some Prima Materia from the High Priest's vault to create his shield.

Despite Tiberius' warnings, Remus continued his work and didn't return the Prima Materia. Remus also presented to the High Priest a design for Blade Pillar traps improved upon the work of Tiberius, but without his approval. Tiberius became jealous as the High Priest was impressed by the design and wanted to commend Remus. Tiberius reported to the High Priest that Remus stole from his vault and Remus was immured alive inside the walls beneath the arena.

When Scarlett Rhodes, Stanton Shaw, Diego Necalli and Bruno Delacroix woke up in the arena to complete the trial for the High Priest, they heard the cries of Remus and solved a series of riddles to free him. When the wall crumbled, it revealed the skeleton of Remus leaving only his soul to be freed.
