Reserve Cases are a feature and micro-transaction featured within the Black Market of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Reserves award the player with a single Reserve-exclusive item, earnable by playing an hour of Multiplayer, Blackout or Zombies. Following the addition of Contracts, players were given optional challenges which reward up to two free cases along with experience points for the respective mode.
Reserve Cases are also earnable in Black Operations, which is unlocked after the current Operation has concluded or the player has completed all available tiers.
A variant of Reserve Cases, that being the Reserve Crates which function more like Supply Drops, award the player three Reserve-exclusive items that cannot be found within a Contraband or Blackjack's Shop.
