In Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, reticles are obtained through various means, such as challenges, promotions, Supply Drops and downloadable content. Reticles are available in two groups - one for reflex sights such as the VMC, and another set for the default sniper rifle scope, Thermal and Variable Zoom. Reticles from supply drops, Mission Teams and Extras are obtained in one of four rarities, being Common, Rare, Legendary and Epic. All Multiplayer reticles are available for use in Local Play and the Zombies mode.
Many reticles change their appearance when aiming down the sight, or when firing the weapon.

- The default reticles were originally going to feature as the icons to be selected, but were replaced by the default white cross instead.
- The Blue Dot reticle is used as the default reticle for the canted sight of the Scout Hybrid.
