Rhino 2 was the callsign of an M1A2 Abrams tank in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Fight through Hamburg[]

During the mission "Goalpost", Rhino 2's tank unit supports Delta Force and Army Rangers in its quest to rescue the U.S. vice president. Along with Rhino 1, Rhino 2 destroys numerous T-90s and Russian ground troops. However, the column is soon stopped at a roadblock near the entrance to a parking garage. The commander of Rhino 2, Carter, begins to warn Sandman that the tank may not be able to drive through the garage because of its weight. Before he finishes his sentence, Carter is shot and killed by a Russian sniper.

The gunner of Rhino 2 shoots a round into a nearby building housing the sniper, thus avenging Carter. Sandman then orders Derek "Frost" Westbrook to take Carter's position on the mounted minigun. Rhino 2 then enters the parking garage and engages Russian forces. As Carter had predicted, the 70 ton tank was too heavy for the parking garage, and crashed through three floors, with Frost narrowly escaping being crushed by a falling car. All of Rhino 2's systems are dead, so Frost and the crew have to abandon the tank. The gunner and loader fight with Frost and Sandman for the remainder of the level, and assist with rescuing the U.S. vice president.
