The SBD Dauntless is a dive bomber aircraft featured in Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone.

Campaign[]
The SBD Dauntless appears during the campaign missions The Battle of Midway and Numa Numa Trail.
During the Battle of Midway, Wade Jackson pilots a SBD Dauntless designated S-17 with Mateo Hernandez serving as his tail gunner. They are part of the offensive against an Japanese Navy Fleet and launch from the USS Enterprise. Jackson's S-17 is responsible for the sinking of two Japanese aircraft carriers as well as several the elimination of several A6M Zeroes.
At the beginning of Numa Numa Trail, Jackson's S-17 is shot down by a Zero over Papua New Guinea and left behind in the jungle.

The SBD Dauntless appears in multiplayer as the Strafe Run killstreak.

Call of Duty: Warzone[]
The SBD Dauntless returns in Call of Duty: Warzone as the Fighter Plane. It was added with the release of the map Caldera as part of the Season One of Call of Duty: Vanguard. The plane seats up to two players and can shoot at players and vehicles. The plane can also ping enemy players.
