Common Salvage in Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard.

Salvage is a part of the expanded system of Buildables introduced in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and later featured in Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War[]

In Black Ops Cold War, Salvage comes in two forms: uncommon Salvage and rare High-Grade Salvage. Killing enemies can drop either form of Salvage rewarding the players with either 50 Salvage or 10 High-Grade Salvage.

Uncommon Salvage can be utilized at the Crafting Table to craft Tactical and Lethal Equipments or at the Arsenal to acquire, repair, or upgrade the Armor (Level 1 and Level 2) or Tier Damage of weaponry (Tier 2 and Tier 3) alongside rerolling any Attachments that are on it. High-Grade Salvage can be utilized to craft Scorestreaks and Self Revives or upgrade the Armor (Level 3) and the Tier Damage of weaponry (Tier 4 and Tier 5).

One of the Outbreak World Events can also reward players with epic Salvage Stockpiles, each worth 300 Salvage, and legendary High-Grade Salvage Stockpiles, each worth 25 High-grade Salvage.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6[]

Salvage returns in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, used like its predecessors at the Crafting Table or at an Arsenal Machine.
