Samuel Colton is a character featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies mode.
Biography[]
Samuel Colton was the owner of the nuclear power plant near Liberty Falls and last owner of the mansion, which was then named "Sam Colton Hall".
Despite managing the nuclear power plant, Colton spent most of his time and money on gambling or to acquire artefacts and collectibles, including a complete Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton.
After employees became ill, Colton commissioned a private inspection of the nuclear plant. When he discovered the reactor was failing, Colton hid the report. After the death of several workers, their families signed a class-action lawsuit against Colton for what was now dubbed "Colton-cancer". However, in 1974, Colton was murdered by the widow of one of his employees. Somehow, Colton's spirit was transported into a liminal space inside the mansion where he was trapped in a loop, constantly searching for the inspection report.
Colton Hall remained abandoned until Edward Richtofen and Project Janus used it as a research facility to house S.A.M in the late 1980s. When the ex-Requiem arrived at the mansion on February 28th, 1991, they retrieved the inspection report to free Colton's spirit and empower the Sentinel Artifact with the Prima Materia contained in the liminal space.
