The Scavenger is a Boss featured in the DMZ mode of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0.
Overview[]
Scavenger can be found on Al Mazrah, Ashika Island, and Vondel. The Scavenger is protected by Al-Qatala Special Bodyguards in Al Mazrah, Shadow Company Special Forces in Ashika Island, and Konni Special Forces in Vondel. He can be located by in a Red Circle Zone around nearby dead operators carrying their operator tags and scavenging their loot. The Scavenger will replace any player Dog Tags with a Calling Card item in their backpack. To find the Scavenger, the player can either kill opposing operators by starting an Intel contract or to wait 5–10 minutes for his arrival.
Upon killing the Scavenger, he will drop Operator Dog Tags, Random Valuable Items, the Scavenger Backpack, a Gold Skull, and 3-Plate Carriers.
No matter what the player does, the Scavenger will always attempt to flee the AO.
With Season Five, the Scavenger could be approached by operators wearing a disguise which then he would offer trade through the use of a Deployable Buy Station. Killing the Scavenger would destroy the Buy Station.
