Dr. Schuster is a character that is mentioned in the Moon radios. He was a Group 935 scientist that, by discovering the equations necessary for it, helped Richtofen master teleportation, as well as time travel and multiverse travel, and plot against Maxis. He also worked under Groph in the Griffin Station. In Der Riese while connecting the teleporters to the mainframe, his voice can be heard counting down the clock.
In the Black Ops 4 zombies map Classified, Dr. Schuster is shown to have survived the events at Griffin Station after Samantha Maxis became trapped in the M.P.D. and took control of the zombies. He is heard in various radios around the map, where it's confirmed that he was recruited by the U.S. government to recreate Group 935's experiments in an effort to gain the upper hand over the U.S.S.R. in the Cold War.
In Der Eisendrache, it was revealed that Groph survived Samantha becoming the demonic announcer but Schuster's fate was unknown. However when the Moon was destroyed, it ultimately lead to Schuster's death.
