The Shadow Werewolf is an enhanced version of the Werewolf, and appears as the final boss of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies map, Dead of the Night.

Appearance[]

A larger, and faster variant of the regular Heavy-Class Werewolf. It can be differentiated by its unique skin color, seemingly pale corpse white, with claw and scar markings. Players can see more excess hair at the waist. It serves as the map's final boss.

Abilities[]

  • It can turn invisible in a form of shadow mist.
  • It can teleport at shorter distances throughout the map.
  • It can transform into regular heavy class werewolves after certain phases.
  • It can sneak upon players and stampede, instantly downing the player.

Boss Fight[]

When the player completes all easter eggs and unlocks the forest ruins, a short cutscene is played, as the Shadow Werewolf drops down and leaps into the arena. The boss fight normally contains only three phases and depends on the player's output damage. Zombies, Crimson Nosferatus, and Catalyst Zombies will spawn in the map alongside the boss. The player only needs to trap the boss in the green trap square to deal as much damage as possible. After enough damage is done, the werewolf will have no time to wail out in pain, and falls dead on the ruins floor, concluding the Danu Trial.

Trivia[]

  • The Shadow Werewolf runs on all four when invisible, as the shadow beneath its invisibility indicates it running on all four. Any Zombie type that comes in the werewolf's charge radius can be killed under the stampede.
