Sharks are a unique enemy and animal encountered in the Call of Duty: Ghosts level Into the Deep, the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Exo Zombies map Carrier, and as an operator skin in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Call of Duty: Ghosts[]
A group of sharks is first encountered early on in the level when Keegan and Logan begin their mission to sink the Federation ship. Keegan instructs Logan to stay clear of them; if Logan fails to heed this warning or shoots at the sharks, a shark will attack and kill him instantly, although it is possible to kill them before they reach the player.
Later in the mission, after destroying the ship, Keegan and Logan make their way through a shipwreck where they encounter four more sharks along with the bodies of Federation divers. Since the sharks are between the divers and the exit, Keegan and Logan must swim past the sharks when they have moved away in order to escape. Alternatively, the player may opt to simply kill all the sharks, though this is difficult as they move quickly and are rather hard to hit.
Curiously, if the player manages to successfully sneak behind and knife a shark, it will die in one slash. This is most easily done on the shark that swims past Keegan and Logan in the tunnel before the exit. Note that doing so will cause the other sharks to swim into the tunnel and attack the player.
