A Sherman Firefly in Call of Duty 3.
The Sherman Firefly is a tank that was used during World War II. It was upgraded to use a bigger and higher caliber (17 Pounder) gun to be able to tackle the heavily armoured German tanks such as the Tiger tank. The Sherman Firefly is used in Call of Duty 3 by the Polish in the mission, "The Black Baron." It is controlled by the player one last time and seen once again controlled Polish forces in "The Mace."
The version of the Firefly seen in game is the 'traditional' or most common Firefly VC - a Sherman V chassis, with the 'C' modification - the 17pdr.
