The shock charge can be unlocked and used in the customize class section. It is similar to its multiplayer variant.

The Shock Charge is a tactical equipment that can be selected in Call of Duty: Black Ops II. It induces a stunning effect on targets while mildly electrocuting them to inflict small amounts of damage. It is thrown in a similar manner to the Throwing Knife. It can stick to all surfaces and will be triggered if it detects nearby enemy movement. It is small and hard to spot unless the player is using Engineer. However it makes a very audible noise that makes it easier to detect therefore balancing it's hardness to spot.
