Biography[]
On 10 March 1943, Simons was among a contingent of British soldiers stationed in the Tunisian village of Toujane when they came under attack by members of the Afrika Korps. The unit suffered heavy casualties, while Captain Price, pinned down inside a building, mounts a desperate defence. It is mentioned over the radio that he has been killed just prior to Price's daring escape from the village along with Sergeant John Davis and Private MacGregor.
