Skeletons (or Spartoi in Ancient Evil) are a type of enemy and power-up that appear in the Call of Duty: Black Ops III and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Zombie modes. They are present in the maps Dead Ops Arcade 2: Cyber's Avengening, Der Eisendrache, Rave in the Redwoods, and The Beast From Beyond. Enemy Skeletons appear in the Room of Fate, wielding a cutlass, where they will chase the players so they don't get to the top and get the Fates.

Dead Ops Arcade[]

Aside from enemies, the Skeleton Power-Up can be found to. They work as "living monkey bomb", attracting zombies focus and dealing damage to them.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3[]

They appear once again In Der Eisendrache. There's an easter egg that makes it possible to turn all zombies into skeletons by shooting three skulls that are hidden throughout the map. They are also present while doing the main easter egg, during the fight against the Keeper.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare[]

In Rave in the Redwoods, the Skeletons appears as the normal enemies during the Super Slasher boss fight.

Their second appearance takes place in Shaolin Shuffle. Now, they come as allies, summoned by the Snake's Style, working the same way as the Skeleton's Power Up, but as a character ability.

They appear once again during the Mephistopheles boss fight, coming up as the normal enemies during the fight.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4[]

In Ancient Evil, they are Enhanced class Zombies named Spartoi and appear as ancient Greek warriors in the underground city of Delphi. They appear to be infused with Prima Materia, showing as crystalline growths throughout their bones. They can only be killed by headshots as any kill without a headshot will cause them collapse in a heap and to resurrect nearby after a short delay. They originated from Perseus' initial venture into Delphi and the initial activation of the Sentinel Artifact.
