- For the similarly named weapon, see Skorpion.
The Skorpion EVO is a submachine gun featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Call of Duty: Strike Team, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Mobile and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II[]
- "Fully automatic submachine gun. Highest rate of fire in class."
- — In-game description.
The Skorpion EVO (originally known as Skorpion EVO III in early footage) appears in Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Call of Duty: Strike Team.
Multiplayer[]
The Skorpion EVO is the last SMG unlocked, at level 46, alongside the SMR.
At any range short of ten meters, the Skorpion EVO will deal 33 damage per bullet, needing four shots to kill. This is also the extent of the Skorpion EVO's one shot kill range in Hardcore. At ranges between ten and 21.25 meters, the Skorpion EVO will deal 22 damage per bullet, needing five shots to kill. At any range past 21.25 meters, the Skorpion EVO will deal eighteen damage per bullet, needing six shots to kill. The Skorpion EVO does no extra damage on headshots, so it is not advantageous to go for them. The Skorpion EVO has low penetration power.
The Skorpion EVO fires fully automatically at a rate of 1250 RPM.
The Skorpion EVO's recoil values are 50 to the left, 50 to the right, 60 upwards, and 42.5 downwards. The Skorpion EVO has a centerspeed value of 1600. Like other SMGs, the Skorpion EVO is a bit of idle sway and it sways very quickly.
The Skorpion EVO allows users to move at 100% of the base movement speed, or strafe at 80% of the base movement speed. The Skorpion EVO allows users to aim down the sights in 200 milliseconds, and the hip-fire spread is tight. The Skorpion EVO's reload animation is two seconds long, or 2.5 seconds long on an empty magazine. In either case, the user can Reload Cancel after 1.4 seconds.
The Skorpion EVO has a fair magazine capacity of 32 rounds, and a starting ammo loadout of 128 rounds.
The Skorpion EVO has the standard assortment of SMG attachments on offer. Most attachments work as expected on the Skorpion EVO, but the Skorpion EVO has slightly different behaviour when using Rapid Fire. Rapid Fire on the Skorpion EVO confers a 75% range penalty instead of the usual 60% range penalty for SMGs. This trait with Rapid Fire is shared with the Chicom CQB.

Zombies[]
The Skorpion EVO appears in the Zombies mode for Black Ops II on the map Origins. It can be purchased from the Mystery Box for 950 points. It has a high fire rate, making it a good to shoot in bursts, as it has a high headshot multiplier, killing zombies in 3 bullets to the head and 5-10 bullets to the body until round 30 with Double Tap Root Beer II. When Pack-a-Punched, it becomes the Evolved Death Stalker and obtains a Reflex sight. It also obtains a magazine size of 40. It becomes one of the highest damaging non-wonder weapons in the game, being a 3-4 bullet kill to the head until round 34 with Double Tap Root Beer II. However, it is recommended to use as a backup or emergency weapon only, as even without Double Tap, it drains ammo quickly.

Trivia[]
Call of Duty: Black Ops II[]
- Before an update, the HUD icon for the Skorpion EVO was used for the M1927 rather than using its own icon in Mob of the Dead.
- On the side of the weapon, "CT. SKORPION EVO 3 A 1", "MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC" as well as "REAPER M.M.P." with a picture of Grim Reaper above it can be seen.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III[]
- In the campaign premiere of Operation 627, the weapon was referred to as the Scorpion Evo 3.
- The Arcade Rhythm blueprint features a small screen above the trigger, which display the logo of Call of Duty: Ghosts.
- The inspect animation of the Arcade Rhythm blueprint has the operator booting up Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The inspect animation continues with the game nearly finish booting up, before a message pops up which reads: "Update requires restart", resulting in the operator responding with frustration. This is a joke about how often players have to restart their game after a hotfix is downloaded.
