Small Map Mosh Pit was added to Black Ops Cold War as Rapid Fire Moshpit on March 4th, 2021. It was playable on Domination, Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed and Hardpoint, Rapid Fire disabled the Ghost perk from being used with a constant Spy Plane sweep on the minimap for both teams. Alongside that, the lobby times were much quicker.
In Vanguard, the mode was available at launch and was known as Tactical Tuesday, featuring only the TacticalCombat Pacing. The mode would return as Tiny Tactical and featured only objective game modes. During the Season Two update, the mode returned under the name Up Close And Personal and was playable only on the Blitz Combat Pacing. It would later return under the name Small Map Mayhem, playable on Domination, Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint and Patrol, and featured a Hardcore variant.
In Modern Warfare II, the mode was added on March 15th, 2023 and in Modern Warfare III on February 14th, 2024. They were playable in the modes Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint and Domination. It was a 6v6 playlist and featured a Hardcore variant.
Small Map Mosh Pit returned in Black Ops 6 on February 13th, 2025 where it was playable on Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, Team Deathmatch and Overdrive, as well as the respective Face Off variants on strictly Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed and Overdrive.
