The Special Air Service (SAS) is an elite special forces regiment of the British Army featured in Call of Duty: United Offensive, Call of Duty 3, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Ghosts Extinction mode, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
The SAS consists of highly trained operators, whose roles include covert special reconnaissance, direct action, counter-terrorism, hostage rescue and various other special operations.
