"Reduced weapon sway when aiming."
— Description

Stabilizer is a weapon attachment featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. It reduces the idle sway when aiming with sniper rifles, Switchblade X9 SMG and the Mozu revolver.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4[]

In Black Ops 4, Stabilizer can be paired with other optic attachments, while the Ballistics CPU only can be equipped on the default scope in Black Ops II and III, although it also can be paired with other optic attachments in Infinite Warfare. Unlike the Ballistics CPU that is attached on the scope, the Stabilizer adds a bipod on rifles and a grip on the Mozu.

Some sniper rifles allow players to attach the optional Stabilizer II after the normal Stabilizer is equipped. Stabilizer II allows players to hold their breath for a longer time. Considering Stabilizer I already greatly reduces idle sway, and not many players hold their breath when aiming, Stabilizer II isn't an attractive option.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War[]

"Lightweight muzzle brake reduces weapon sway."
Pelington 703 Gunsmith description

The Stablizer returns as a Muzzle attachment available for all Sniper Rifles in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. It once more acts similar to the Black Ops 4 counterpart by reducing weapon sway while being not limited to the default scope.
