The Striker is a semi-automatic shotgun featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified, Call of Duty Online and Call of Duty: Mobile, and a fully-automatic shotgun in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone. It was also cut from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2[]

Campaign[]

It has the highest ammo capacity of all the shotguns in-game, holding 12 shells in its cylinder. Because of its large capacity magazine, it takes a long time to reload. The Ultranationalists use it as their primary shotgun. It is only found with or without a Red Dot Sight, and sometimes a Woodland Camouflage. It is also possible to find a Woodland Camouflage Striker when the enemy deploys smoke screens on "Loose Ends", as a matter of fact, it can be very rarely found in the other camouflages in "The Enemy of My Enemy" and "Of Their Own Accord". In "The Gulag", one of the Russian soldiers before the breaching wall at the shower room in will occasionally hold a Striker with Woodland Camouflage. Kiril also uses a Striker during the Airport Massacre in "No Russian".

In the campaign, the Striker is found frequently, especially in the later missions of the game.

Multiplayer[]

The Striker is unlocked at level 34.

The Striker fires six pellets per shot. At any range short of 7.5 meters, the Striker will deal 25 damage per pellet, needing four out of six pellets in a shot to hit to secure a one shot kill. Damage decreases linearly until fifteen meters. At fifteen meters, the Striker will deal fifteen damage per pellet, nedding more than one shot to kill, as that equates to eight pellets to kill. The Striker does no damage past fifteen meters. The Striker has low penetration power.

The Striker's damage profile improves significantly with Stopping Power. At any range short of 7.5 meters, the Striker will deal 35 damage per pellet, needing three out of six pellets in a shot to hit to secure a one shot kill. Damage decreases linearly until fifteen meters. At fifteen meters, the Striker will deal 21 damage per pellet, needing five out of six pellets in a shot to hit to secure a one shot kill. The Striker does no damage past fifteen meters.

The Striker fires semi-automatically, with a maximum fire rate of 352 RPM. There is a mandatory 170 millisecond delay between shots.

The Striker's hip-fire spread is the shotgun standard hip-fire spread, on par with an SMG. Aiming down the sight will slightly widen the shot spread by about ten percent.

The Striker allows users to move at 100% of the base movement speed, or strafe at 40% of the base movement speed. The Striker allows users to aim down the sights in 200 milliseconds. The Striker reloads shell-by-shell, so reloads can take fairly long. Fully loading the Striker with twelve shells can take up to 8.9 seconds to perform.

The Striker has a shell capacity of twelve shells, and the Striker's starting ammo loadout is 36 shells total.

The Striker has the usual assortment of shotgun attachments to choose from. All attachments work as expected on the Striker.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3[]

Campaign[]

The Striker is found in the hands of Russian troops and the African militia, appearing throughout the campaign. It is also available in several Special Ops missions.

Multiplayer[]

The Striker makes an appearance in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on the default multiplayer class "Riot Control" and is unlocked at level 48.

The Striker fires six pellets per shot. At any range short of 7.5 meters, the Striker will deal 25 damage per pellet, needing four pellets to kill. Damage decreases linearly until fifteen meters. At fifteen meters, the Striker will deal fifteen damage per pellet, needing seven pellets to kill, or more than one shot worth of pellets. The Striker does no damage past fifteen meters. The Striker does not have a positive headshot multiplier, and it will deal the same damage to the head as it would to any other part of the body. The Striker will always need exactly two pellets to kill in Hardcore game types. The Striker has low penetration power.

The Striker's damage profile improves when using the Damage Proficiency. At any range short of 7.5 meters, the Striker will deal 35 damage per pellet, needing three pellets to kill. Damage decreases linearly until fifteen meters. At fifteen meters, the Striker will deal 21 damage per pellet, needing five pellets to kill. The Striker becomes capable of a one pellet kill in Hardcore game types out to a range of roughly ten meters.

The Striker fires semi-automatically, with a maximum potential fire rate of 352 RPM. There is a mandatory 170 millisecond delay between shots.

The Striker's hip-fire spread is the shotgun standard, consistent in size and on par with an SMG on the move. Aiming down the sights will narrow the shot spread by 10%. The Striker has recoil values of 55 to the left and to the right. It has no downwards recoil value, and instead kicks up with a value of either 85 or 95. The Striker has a centerspeed value of 1000.

The Striker allows users to move at up to 100% of the base movement speed, or strafe at 40% of the base movement speed. The Striker allows users to aim down the sights in 200 milliseconds. The Striker reloads on a shell-by-shell basis. The first shell takes 1.14 seconds to load, and all subsequent shells are loaded in 0.66 seconds. There is a 0.43 second animation once the last shell has been loaded. The user can Reload Cancel the Striker at any time during the reloading process.

The Striker has a shell capacity of twelve rounds, and a starting ammo loadout of 36 rounds.

The Striker has the standard assortment of shotgun attachments and weapon proficiencies to choose from. All attachments and proficiencies behave as expected on the Striker.

On the January 25th update for Xbox 360 (February 3 for PS3), the Striker had a reduction in the maximum number of pellets per shot from 9 pellets to 6. This was likely done in an attempt to balance it with other shotguns because the Striker had superior stats in terms of damage per second, effective range, accuracy, and magazine capacity.

The Striker also appears in Infected in the loadouts "Knife vs Striker" and "Striker vs Jugg". In "Knife vs Striker", the Striker is equipped with Extended Mags and the Damage proficiency. In "Striker vs Jugg", the infected wield it with Extended Mags and the Range proficiency.

Special Ops[]

The Striker is available for both Survival and Mission modes.

Mission Mode[]

The Striker is an enemy weapon in the Mission Mode challenge Over Reactor and an alternate weapon in Fatal Extraction and Smack Town.

Survival Mode[]

The Striker is available in Survival Mode at level 33 and costs $4000. The Striker can kill an unarmored Juggernaut in one magazine if the player is close enough. If the player has no patience or experience with LMGs or other heavy weapons, this shotgun is solid for killing Juggernauts, and can last an entire two-player game if synchronizing with the other player throwing Flashbangs. The only downsides this shotgun has in Survival Mode are a lengthy reload time, even with Sleight of Hand, and high recoil.

Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified[]

The Striker returns in Black Ops: Declassified. It retains the visual model from Modern Warfare 3 while also having a very similar firing sound. As with previous installments, the Striker has lower damage than other shotguns, but has a high magazine capacity along with a high rate of fire.

The subject matter of this article was cut from the final version of a Call of Duty game. Since some information can lack context, the content on this page may not be accurate and is subject to change.

The Striker was cut from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered[1]. The weapon is usable and complete, indicating it was cut fairly late in development.

Call of Duty: Mobile[]

"Semi-automatic shotgun with higher accuracy at medium and close range."
— In-game description

The Striker returns in Call of Duty: Mobile.

Multiplayer[]

Being a semi-automatic shotgun, the Striker features great rate of fire and weak damage. The weak damage means that a build on accuracy when aiming down sights will only have a one-hit kill range that is less than 10m. Furthermore, this approach is unable to address the Striker's obstructive iron sights and lengthy reload duration.

As such, the Striker is better suited as a run-and-gun weapon for close-quarters maps. Although there are only 2 attachment types that improve hipfire accuracy (muzzle and laser), this allows for the Sleight of Hand perk and Fast Reload Case to be selected, reducing the duration for an empty reload to a more tolerable 3.6 seconds from the original 5.7.

Battle Royale[]

The Striker has high rate of fire for a shotgun, and can deal high damage to enemies. It is available for pickup from the ground, and can be obtained from airdrops, if chosen as a customized weapon in the loadout.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War[]

"Full-auto shotgun. Superior fire rate with reliable damage and the largest ammo pool in class. Hand loaded with slower reload speeds."
— In-game description

The Striker retuns in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War as the Streetsweeper. It was added on January 7th, 2021 as part of the Season One update.

Unlike previous iterations, the Streetsweeper features a unique folding stock on its model, and is fully-automatic instead of semi-auto. Additionally, each time a shell is loaded into the weapon, the player rotates a knob on the front of the drum to cycle each of the shells through it.

Overview[]

Multiplayer[]

The Streetsweeper, like other shotguns in the game, is a secondary weapon, and thus can be equipped alongside a primary weapon without the use of a Wildcard.

The Streetsweeper is a very powerful weapon in close-quarters-combat, quickly dispatching enemies with its full-auto nature and large magazine size. However, the Streetsweeper suffers from a horrendously slow reload time of 14 seconds, forcing players into situations where hanging back away from combat to reload the weapon is often best.

Zombies[]

The Streetsweeper can be brought into any map via Create-A-Class, at Loadout rarity. It was added to the Mystery Box and Trials rewards pool as part of the Season Three: Reloaded update.

Like before, the Streetsweeper, while powerful, suffers from a long reload time, which can be slightly nullified with the use of Speed Cola. When upgraded via the Pack-a-Punch Machine, it becomes the Road Rage, gaining additional reserve ammo, increased magazine capacity, increased damage and reloading a single shell reloads five shells at once.

Attachments Magazine Size and Max Capacity Pack-A-Punch Magazine Size and Max Capacity
No Magazine Affecting Attachments 12/72 30/280
15 Rnd Drum 15/90 38/228
STANAG 18 Rnd Drum 18/108 45/270

Warzone[]

The Streetsweeper can be found in Call of Duty: Warzone. It appears as a world drop along with any of its blueprint variants, and can be customized in the player's loadout once unlocked. Due to its high power and automatic nature, the Streetsweeper is a devastating weapon at close range, taking only a few shots to shred through enemy armor and subsequently down them. However, due to its slow reload time and ineffectiveness at longer ranges, the Streetsweeper should be treated as more of a backup weapon for close-quarter-combat situations, as the player may find themselves running out of ammo without an opportunity to reload, especially in group fights.

Trivia[]

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2[]

  • In third person, the Striker lacks the front sight.
  • As with all shotguns, aiming down the sights actually increases the spread of the shots to equal or wider than the weapon fired from the hip with Steady Aim.
  • When changing the Field of View and sprinting, it is possible to see a shotgun shell attached to the player's left arm.
