The Tac 12, referred to within game files as the UTS-15, is a pump-action shotgun featured in Call of Duty: Ghosts.
Multiplayer
The Tac 12 is the last unlocked shotgun. It boasts the longest range of the shotguns, as well as the second least hip-spread (just behind the Bulldog). It has the least spread when ADS however decreasing it by half of what it is from the hip, thanks to the integrated Smart Choke. This paired with its long range and better minimum damage makes it one of the deadliest shotguns at their range extent.
Extended Magazines will increase magazine capacity from 10 to 15. Players who use this attachment with the Tac 12 should be precautious as the increase in magazine size combined with the shell-by-shell reload will make reloads longer if they don't top up regularly.
The Foregrip is basically useless on the pump-action shotguns due to their slow fire rate, as the gun will re-center before the next shot can be put out. The Silencer is not recommended, as even though the Tac 12 has the highest range of the shotguns, the Silencer will still heavily limit its lethality and is not worth the gain of stealth benefits.
The Muzzle Brake is a very recommended attachment, granting a 15% boost to range. This will increase the likely chance of a one shot kill at the extent of its range. Slug Rounds will change the ammo type from the regular buckshot to a single accurate slug. At close and medium ranges, the Tac 12 can be deadly with the Slug Round as there is no maximum range at which the shot disappears. When combined with the Muzzle Brake it can be very deadly, dealing one hit kills out to medium range.
However, the attachment is not a necessity due to the Smart Choke that is integrated in the shotgun, however, whether or not the player uses this is all up to either freeing up the modification slot for another mod and stick with the inferior Smart Choke, or if players want extremely precise fire in the form of Slugs.

- A lot of scribbles can be seen on the shotgun, such as on the top, where there's a big red scribble, on the iron sights, where there's a circle, and various others.
