Tactical Rifles are a weapon type featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Tactical Rifles are defined by the use of a semi-automatic or burst fire mode combined with mid to long range effectiveness. They often include a built-in scope for precision aiming.
In Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Tactical Rifles function as mid to long-range rifles, with generally slower handling than most Assault Rifles. Barring the M16 and Essex Model 07, each Tactical Rifle has their own Operator Mod. Most of the Tactical Rifles can be equipped with a Reflex Sight for a more aggressive playstyle.
