Tactical Stance, also called Tac Stance, is a gameplay mechanic featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
When in Tac Stance, the player is able to tighten up the spread of their weapon compared to firing from the hip, with increased handling compared to fully aiming down sights. However, while in Tac Stance, weapons are not as accurate as they are when fully aimed. Tac Stance is also usable when Sliding, and the player is locked into the stance for the duration of the slide, unless they have the Tactical Pads Boots. Most Attachments that favor hipfire will also favor Tac Stance.
In Black Ops 6, Tac Stance can be equipped onto various weapons when having the Tactical Laser attachment equipped.
