UntitledEdit

Where in the data files is this content? None of the IWD files seems to have anything like this. TheTrueBlue 16:38, November 13, 2010 (UTC)

Der Riese Edit

could Richtofen be a login for the der riese server seeing as how he did work there? 68.53.209.175 09:48, November 15, 2010 (UTC)

Group935 is a username don't know password Deadxinsanity 23:23, November 17, 2010 (UTC) I have confirmed any name entered will be accepted as a username (I put my name and it asked for a password) so without a valid password Group935 may not be a login nor Richtofen or Maxis.

lmaxis is confirmed as a user 68.53.209.175 08:32, November 22, 2010 (UTC)

lmaxis cannot be confirmed as a user without a password. for example enter the username: Jsmith and you will still be asked for a password, put even a random string of letters or numbers and you will be asked for a password. So no, lmaxis is not confirmed until a password is found 67.167.171.15 18:50, January 3, 2011 (UTC)

You can probably find the logins and passwords by looking through the PC game files. Alleypuppy 04:05, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

Has anyone realized that when you go to login to the CIA or Dreamland servers they say something about security and the DerRiese says nothing. I believe strongly that there are no users for it 67.167.171.15 01:25, March 4, 2011 (UTC)

The same happens with DoD , no security notice, so i doubt that exists either --Morgan-- 15:37, April 23, 2011 (UTC)

Cipher Edit

someone cracked the Cipher code for the messages

http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/callofduty7workingtitle/show_msgs.php?topic_id=m-1-57181977&pid=960189 please edit the article accordingly.

Impressive :) I cannot verify and double-check the theory without a copy of that book, so I have to keep neutral on its validity. I tend to think this theory seems a little too hard to find out and imho the answer - the secret cypher which was used to encode the actual content in the Sovjet number broadcast messages - can still be found somewhere within all text-content the game makes clearly available to players. His theory is all in all very sound, as far as to the method used to encode. I too would agree with the alphanumerical transposition of the number value broadcast being [0,25] = [A,Z].

MJTBITMBIAWISHTIYDKMFKSWU = E T Edit

I don't know about you guys, but one time I decoded the string "MJTBITMBIAWISHTIYDKMFKSWU" as mentioned at the bottom of the article, and instead of "EE", I got "E T". I edited that part of the article if that's okay.

Overall, what could "E T" mean? One would think "extraterrestrials", or that ET movie, but what if it was a clue for figuring out how to log in to the Der Riese server? Dave55811 20:28, January 12, 2011 (UTC)

How exactly did you, "crack" the code? A Lonely Nomad 21:31, January 12, 2011 (UTC)

I think there is a cipher feature. Bumblebeeprime09's Quarters/Radio/Records 21:42, January 12, 2011 (UTC)

Suggestion. Edit

Has anyone tried to just crack the actual games code to access the DERRIESE server? Because recent development in this area of the Zombie storyline have stalled and I think we might be chasing a shadow.

Crack the actual games code? What dod you mean by that? And development on Zombie mode isn't stalled any longer imho, seen the upcoming 4th Map Pack Rezurrection.

Also, has anybody ever tried to decode a entire limerick? Think about it, Roppen says the letters gives us clues. Letters, sentences LIMERICKS. Try putting that in the decode cipher and see what you get.

The limericks imho are clues to find a user and password. E. g., as VBUSH mentions within his post there's a limerick that, if you take each first letter on every sentence, gives DK-MFK. DK are the initials for D. King or user DKING and his password actually is MFK on the CIA data system.
BR, Immanuelvm 21:22, August 13, 2011 (UTC)

Well I have, but it was a long time ago. I put it in the CIA data system's DECODE [characterstring] command. Also did work with ENCODE [characterstring]. I came up with the letters (not in a particular order) T, B, E, N. Not sure what it is, I'll try decoding it again. but trust me, it is very complicated.

What about John Trent? Edit

I just found this by accident, and I notice mail by John Trent. Why isn't he mentioned anywhere? 69.132.79.61 00:28, April 10, 2011 (UTC)

John Trent is mentioned in the Reznov page and is likely not actually in the CIA's system 67.167.171.15 10:04, May 4, 2011 (UTC)

Dreamland Edit

Did anyone ever get JFK's password for the Dreamland server? 67.167.171.15 10:56, May 4, 2011 (UTC)

JFKENNEDY is a known CIA user. He is the President, yes, yet he did not have direct access to the system, as he isn't member of the MJ-12 group. The Dreamland Admin posts found within several users' MAIL clearly state that only the members of MJ-12 have access. This means only the persons mentioned within the file "MS-12.TXT" are imho legitimate users for the DREAMLAND data system.

Is this on Wii? Edit

Seriously, I'm getting REALLY pissed off that Treyarch hates the Wii, and I swear I will destroy the entire USA if I find out you can't use this on the Wii. Trueblade74

You do realize that they are the only ones who have made a game for the Wii? Infintiy Ward hasn't made any for the Wii. You should be thankful they love you enough. And there are ram issues you know.

Missing Passwords Edit

There are still missing passwords for 'Rmcnamara' and 'vreznov'. Anyone got a clue? With Reznov it might be somethig as far back as World at War, but Mcnamara might be something easier to find.

Der RieseEdit

Anybody else notice there's separate accounts for Richtofen? There's edward and there's erichtofen. Why would they do that? Black Ops Official logoPoketape Talk 08:17, July 9, 2011 (UTC)

Perhaps different information, such as more classified information regarding Group 935, whilst the other is more "personal". TWCSIG TALKICON 08:21, July 9, 2011 (UTC)

"vreznov," "rmcnamara," and Der Riese accountsEdit

I honestly don't think these accounts exist. Since "vreznov" is not listed under the "WHO" command or the /home/ directory, and because typing "CD VREZNOV" gives me an "Invalid Path" error (this is how you access "hkissinger," "jehoover," and "sagnew"), then he is not an existing user.

As for "rmcnamara" and the Der Riese users, at the login screen, you can type in any username at the "USER:" prompt and a "PASSWORD:" prompt will still come up. If I typed "RLOGIN DERRIESE" and typed "ALLEYPUPPY" for the user, the next prompt will still be "PASSWORD:," meaning these accounts most likely do not exist.

If someone really does believe that these accounts exist and has PROOF that they exist, please post your findings. Alleypuppy 15:27, July 22, 2011 (UTC)

I think we can agree that DERRIESE is - like CIA (users known), DOD and DREAMLAND (users known) are - an existing in-game data system seen that RLOGIN DERRIESE asks for a USER and PASSWORD. Imho, this is the only proof available.
