The Bang system is really just a technical note and does not really have much relevance to the game. Twalls 02:40, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Dosen't matter. It has nothing to do with Call of Duty so don't bother finding out from here. --Personal Toilet Bowl Soldier sigSoldier 17:15, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

Are you sure you aren't talking about the StG-44? That's what it's called, Sturmgewehr 44. CirChris -Here to help! Fading Fast... 18:37, July 2, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, only the STG-44 is a sturmgewehr (assault rifle), the Gewerd 43 is just a "gewehr" (rifle) Lordofthelargepants The Zipper and The Pockets 19:20, July 2, 2010 (UTC)
Small correction, Sturmgewehr literaly translatess 'storm rifle' with storm being a synonym to assault(ie: storm the fortress). Agent Tasmania 00:18, July 3, 2010 (UTC)
Yes, it does literally translate to storm rifle. But unlike english, in german, the word sturm means both assault and storm. Unlike english, in which storm can *mean* assault, as in storming a position, but in german, the word does not only "mean" assault, it is assault. I live next to germany, I know my german.
