Weaponology

This documantary television series named the MP7 the most advanced rapid fire weapon, because it penetrates body armor, and its small enough to be used in place of either a pistol or a submachine gun, it also has a high of fire and a decent range for both video games and real life. Rapidfire issue?

I've read mentions here and there that rapidfire doesn't quite work with it as it should, giving only about a 9% increase. I've tested it via recording a clip shot at rapidfire and it seems possible. Not going to mention it on the page until further testing..

youtube doesn't quite show the time beyond seconds, so its hard to tell in that video the exact timing, but my video editing software seemed to show it was about 2.5-2.6 seconds between the first bullet and the last bullet, which would transfer to about 900something rate of fire as opposed to the 1120ish you should get from a 25% increase

black ops 2

It looked like in the multiplayer reveal that a mp7 was being carried by the riot shield players.

Trivia

On Black Ops 2, when using the Fast Mags attachement on the MP7, the character will remove the empty magazine quicker and will use the bolt release instead of the charging handle.
