Scrapped Perk

End of plotline?

Who else thinks this'll be the end of the zombies plotline? "you'll have all the tools you need to turn back the undead tide once and for all" sounds like a closing line to me. And I think "an all-new perk for thrice the zombie-slaying fun" is hinting that the perk has something to do with the number 3... any guesses? Devilquak 04:56, August 4, 2011 (UTC)

I don't think it will be the four original characters though. Unless they are in spacesuits. If I remember correctly, Richtofan was in a CCCP jumpsuit in Acension. Perhaps Nikolai and Richtofan is in one, and Takeo & Dempsey are in American ones?

Does anybody think that it wil be the character from 5 since richtofen got the focusing stone and he now invisible along with the wonder weapon. and I think treyarch would want us to anticipated black ops 2 by waiting to see what happen to them, and that why I say the people from 5 since USA is the only one to land on the moon and it probaly explain who is the pentagon theif is? remember Der Riese from World At War? It appeared as the last Map Pack for World At War, and it's single player description said: "This is where it all started. This is where the master shape took plan. Is this where it all ends?" it could be the same thing here.

It's obviously the last map pack for BO, but they'll undoubtedly continue the Zombies storyline one way or another, Treyarch will make sure of that. I'm just curious if they'll end the current storyline with the WWII characters, or if they'll keep using them. They're pretty popular, so I'm not really sure. They definitely won't re-use the "Five" characters though, for various reasons. The guy above me is totally right, the description for Der Riese hinted at an ending too, but we saw nothing of the like, only flying teddy bears and the Pack-A-Poke machine. Maybe the zombies will be defeated, but they come back later like in every transformers movie. Can't tell for sure yet, we've got nothing to back either side. Devilquak 04:15, August 6, 2011 (UTC)

The climax is the most exciting part of any game, movie, book, ect. and most of the time in games, the climax is the last part you see. I don't think this is the end. Do you know how popular zombies mode is? If they're making money, then Treyarch will keep doing zombies until people get bored with it, which I think will be a VERY long time before that happens. I'm pretty sure zombies mode will be around for a VERY long time.

I think you might plant the QED like a clamore or camera spike and when a group of zombies runs up to you it could either A bless you and open a wormhole and suck all of the zombies in, or B curse you and take the zombies and double them in some way whether it be size or amount just a thought

Special Zombies

I dont think they are releasing the map packs for xbox first on purpose, i just think that they finish making the xbox version faster than the ps3 one.

What happened to being able to play two games? Just because you've gotten MW3 or BF3 doesn't mean you have to stop playing Zombies, I mean really now. How did they get here?

There's a rocket behind the temple in Shangri-La that the monkeys use. If you saw a monkey go behind the PaP machine it goes up in to the sky. So maybe they took the rocket.

It's that a pyramind uderneath where say meanwhile? It look like the one from the loading scene in shangri-la and one of the astronaut seem to be standing what seem to be one. in the loading scene from shangri-la show that they getting suck into a black hole could that be the way they got there?

QED?

Quantum Entanglement can cause some things other than time travel and occurs "occurs when electrons, molecules even as large as buckyballs, photons, etc., interact physically and then become separated (from wikipedia). Key word: SEPERATED. The QED acts like the Gersch Device but can instantly kill all the zombies on the map because there molecules are seperated. This is for being "blessed". Being cursed is that you get automaticly downed or that the zombies have more/unlimited health (more zombies cannot appear for space issues). I think it is the more /unlimited health idea personally.

What do you guys think?

Story ending?

it would end with them stopping zombies from ever existing by getting rid of that element 115 meteor. i think that the element 115 meteor might have passed the moon and there is something on their that can destroy it

Guide?

Dont you guys think it would be really cool if you had gersch guiding you or a ghost doing a running comentary. Someone like the dead meican or samantha(-possible boss battle). I also think they should have a cutscene like every 10 rounds or something like when you complete the easter egg-there will have to be one.

most of this is gueswork but it would be kindof cool.

New Perk

Any chance it is some form of Overkill? (Overquila) It refers to three, which is what overkill would have to do in Zombies, give you three weapon slots. Just a guess. Some theories

I have a couple of ideas on how the crew got there, and what we might see.

{Richtofen, now with both the Golden Rod and the Focusing Stone, once again prepares to teleport. My theory as to why he needs it is to control where you would like to teleport to, and what date it will be. Because the teleporter is capable of time travel, Richtofen teleports to the Moon in the future, or the past, I don't know. But because there is currently no base on the Moon, it must be in the future} {or in ascension the kassmir mechanism overloaded and transported them to cotd behind the door and when they teleported they came to the moon farther in the future in crygogenic tubes asleep and 115 caused them to have the same dream about shangri-la and the focusing stone that after everyone got it they died and woke up to a nighmare and found a button in the tubes and pushed them and found themselves on the moon with only a M1911 and 2 frag grenades they slaughter the undead hoard till the next teleport}

The people on the base discovered the 115 meteor and brought it to the base. Someone working there must have come in contact with it, and became infected, thus infecting everyone there.

Going back to Ascension, specifically the Kassimir Mechanism. The 4th node in the easter egg requires the players to use the Lunar Landers to spell out 'Luna', which in English means Moon. It's been proven that the Mechanism overloaded the teleported, causing the crew to become trapped behind a door. It might be possible that the overload it caused could've teleported the Mechanism to the Moon, so we might see it on the Moon, most likely part of an easter egg.

So going to the weapons now. The Wave Gun, which is supposed to "burn the zombies from the inside-out" might be similar to the Flamethrower or Thundergun. I'm leaning more towards the Flamethrower. I think when its fired at a zombie, that zombie will begin to glow a orange-red color. The inside of there body melts, thus all the bones and internal organs are gone, and the zombies will either melt or explode when they are hit by the Wave Guns blast.

The Quantum Entanglement Device is supposed to "bless or curse the player". I think this. If you are blessed, you might get a power-up or a free perk. If you are cursed, you could lose all your ammo instantly, lose a perk, or get downed instantly.

Again, these are just my theories as to what we might see when we begin fighting the zombies on Moon. Dr3adnaught 00:11, August 7, 2011 (UTC)

What Conspiracies?

This is what it says on their website:

Maybe but you know in transformers 3 the americans got to the moon first because there was something there and the RUSSIANS were trying to get to it first? Well maybe Russia had got there first(Ascension) and found fragments of the 115 meotor (forgot how to spell it) and the people got infected. My next theory is that there is a satelite on the moon and the golden rod is like a transmiter and the focusing stone could focus the transmition via the satelite and perhaps ever spread a cure or put them under Richtofens control!

All of the is theory and might be wrong(lets face it, it probably is) but this is mearly speculation and no-one knows what the EASTER EGG is and if you will meet SAMANTHA, i know completly off topic but there are allways possibilities! BLOODWILLFALL

115 uses

i think your all forgetting that on der reise, and ascencion, and shangri la, that on the MOON there is a spot of 115, now seeing that from the earth means the lump must be HUGE. therefore richtofen uses the huge 115 meteor to control the earth (from the moon), just a thought SUPERIORsausage 12:19, August 7, 2011 (UTC)

I always thought the last map would have a boss fight at, like, round 30 or 40 or something. Maybe something Romero-style? Samantha in a space suit? I mean, she's an entity, right? Trophys/achivements

How many trphys/achivements do think is gonna be for moon? and do you think they'll bring the trophy/achivements from WaW about the zombie maps into black ops? ( Mickzilla^Talk 19:37, August 8, 2011 (UTC))

Right now, it is unknown. As for WaW achivs, likely no, because they wern't brought in with the Hardened and Prestige editions of Black Ops.

But that people who brought the hardened and prestige editions don't they have to download the whole mappack?and if so they might put the thropy on there I think I heard in interview that they updated a lot stuff.

I was thinking that maybe they would make 1 achievement for every map, but I'm probably wrong (Manolox70)

NEW GUNS

there is going to be a new gun called the wave gun that has been rumured to kill zombies from the inside out. there will also be a new grenade that i think could make zero gravity for a few seconds and act like a monkey bomb. i read on cod wiki that someone said its a hit and miss weapon (Hrovat97 10:43, August 9, 2011 (UTC))

Moon

The New Perk

I would like to say I am correct with my previous assumption, it is some form of Overkill that allows you to have three guns since the Emblem is a pistol with two outlines of a pistol under it, effectivly being three pistols. 2 things. 1: if the perk does this it dosnt make sense because perk-o-colas affect the player (jugg turns 2 hits to 4 hits, stamin-up makes you sprint longer, ect.) this justs makes room for a 3rd gun. 2: even if it does i think it might be dual wield so you might get guns doubled (excluding hk211, m52law ect.) Space walking?

According to the creaters in this vid (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oi5Nr4QvmF8), the players walk very different from the other maps, because of the low gravity. Maybe that should be put under trivia.

Possible Flamethrower Screenshot?

Although you can barely see it (the QED explodes partically the next frame after) you can clearly see the barrel, fire stream, and fire "burst" at the end of the stream that you could associate with a flamethrower. This gameplay video shows that, atleast while in the Area 51 section of the map, there are Hellhounds. Here's a pic:

Cryogenic Slumber Party

Yeeeeaah, I know I butchered the name, no need to complain about it. Anyway, this "finish Richtofen's plans" or something sounds interesting. From what I know about Sci-Fi movies is that Cryogenicly freezing something makes in frozen in a deep sleep for a long time while still being alive. The Slumber Party has gotten me suspicous. Obviously a slumber party is a mass sleep-together party (in the best words I could think of, no puns intended). I don't have the video, but Inside Xbox showed many things:

. A device to hack things, such as gun outlines for unknown reason

. A "Ray Gun" Power-up, suggesting that multiple weapons can be dropped by power-up, with or without relation to Mule kick

. Players start on Earth, and teleport to the moon, without using the power switch

. The power switch is on the moon, pack-a-punch is on earth

. Hellhounds spawn durring normal zombie rounds, at least on earth

At roughly 3:08 in the new InsideXbox movie theres a floating ray gun that spins while shooting. That could be what the Ray Gun Power-up does. It also looks like you won't be able to have the P.E.S. and the Hacker simultaneously. It says "to replace" it, and they take the same slot, along with Claymores. So it looks as if it'll be a "one-or-the-other" thing.

And regarding the music easter egg, the song is unknown right now, but to activate it, 3 Teddy Bears with astronaut helmets need to be "interacted" with using Square/X. One is seen at 4:10 in the above video.

Kill other players in moon?

Guys, I just watched the inside xbox video (the interview one) and about a third of the way through (sorry, was watching on my xbox can't give an exact time) you see the player shoot another player (he has a name above his head, which is red!) and kill him. Could the zombies be able to posses the players, or 'rezurrect' them to fight for the zombies if they die? Or this could be that 'curse' the QED was talking about.

If you look at this video(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMsOCDvjF9s&feature=youtube_gdata_player) and you will see at 1:15 there is a spas 12 power up...BOOOOOM add it to the page and please note he had baught mule kick just before so it may be related to the power up and i wonder if there is any others???

Richtofen As An NPC?

I have heard rumors (totally not official, just rumors) from unreliable and totally irresponsible sources that Richtofen will not be a playable character. This does fit with the fact that the 'Big Bang Theory' is based on obtaining 'sweet, sweet revenge', and the only real thing here that needs avenging is Richtofen against the three other characters. I, personally, don't believe it, but it's entirely possible.

What does that mean? It's entirely possible that this is set to be the real end of the Zombies storyline. It's possible we might get to see that 'fifth' character that's been quite a mystery. What do you guys think? Tsunami Volt^Talk 13:35, August 22, 2011 (UTC)

No Man's Land

This is the mode at the start of moon, it is likely that you start in area 51 then have to survive as long as possible then teleport to the moon. No Man's Land also has it's own leaderboard in the Moon Leaderboard section.

Here's some stuff

I just got this, here is some stuff:

You spawn in what looks like Area 51, next to the pack a punch machine. (It looks like you can use it from the beginning)

Zombies come out of the mud in the spawn room.

There are WAY more than 6 zombies.

After about 30 seconds they run at you.

Perk a cola machines seem to randomly spawn.

You need to enter the teleporter as soon as you can, otherwise you will die. The spacesuit will be in front of you, it's free.

Insta kill does not affect astronauts, and they first appeared to me on round 2

If anyone could organize this and put it in the article, I would be happy.

All 8 Perks?

Has anybody figured this out yet? I thought you would be able to buy all of them this time, because the achievement description said purchase them instead of obtain them. I've already tried just buying them with 4 perks already, and teh astronaut zombies don't drop anything.

That's not it you need to at least have some way of doing this without doing the easter egg. There has to be someway to get the random perk bottle. For the achievement it states you have to PURCHASE 8 perks . Someone worked out you can use the hacker to refund any perk. So just refund a perk and buy a different one and you'll eventually get the achievemnt.

actually u dont need to down urself save money. buy the perk u dont want like revive then hack it, go to deadhot do the same buy then hack continue on. i did this making sure mule speed jug n flopper were the 4 i was left with. achievement by round 10 at least for me. also (A Teleporter to reach the Receiving Area. Players can get trapped there if they hack the Pack-a-Punch Machine.(tried that epic fail 1st time then near death escape 2nd just allows unattacked time to packapunch) Their allies can resurrect them when they reach the moon base.(IMPOSSIBLE no one can teleprt) The Receiving Area(Quick Revive, olypmia, m16) contains the Pack-a-Punch Machine, Juggernog and Speed Cola (one of them will randomly spawn whenever the players teleport) and is where Hellhounds can spawn.) THAT IS NOT THE RECIEVING AREA PEOPLE. GRENADE A WINDOW AND BREACH REVIVE ROOM AND LISTEN. CLEARLY SHE STATS RECIEVING BAY HAS BEEN BREACHED P.E.S. REQUIRED. the recieving area is revive and first door area before entering the tunnels. so for one giant leap have excavators come down on both sides with a friend near dome, power, where ever as long as its not at the start. go down in recieving area(astronaut teleports u to start or gersch can put u past the excavators)die, bleed out, jump off cliff is the easiest, friend finishes round then u get Resurrected near him. In Moon, become trapped in the Receiving Area and free yourself through resurrection in co-op.

The receiving area is not in area 51

The receive area is the area on the moon where to get transported to from area 51. When you turn on the power the computer voice says that artificial gravity and atmosphere has been activated in the receiving area, tunnel 7 and 11 and the bio dome. Also when you breach the area with quick revive the computer voice says that the receiving area has been beached. The receiving area is on the moon not on earth.Lordqaz 00:50, August 26, 2011 (UTC)

actually when u grenade a window it says recieving bay has been breached same when u turn on power. the recieving area is also the first door u open to go outside making it an area not just the bay. not the tunnels either they are tunnels, area 51 is just that area 51.

Actually,if you have unlocked the "Giant Leap" achievement , you will know the recieving area is on moon.because it says to get trapped in the recieving area.to do so , excavators should have breached tunnel 6 AND 11 simultaneously,so that the map is cut in half.you cant get from this side to the other side.one must be in the starting room on moon aka THE RECIEVING AREA .so he/she will be trapped!then he/she must kill her/him self then the other must finish the round for the other player to be spawned besides him and get FREE.this is proven and i have got the acheivement myself. Reasons for Earth's destruction

Some of you are saying that the Earth being destroyed was Maxis trying to stop Richtofen from controlling the Zombies on Earth. I believe it was all part of Richtofen's plan in the first place. After he had finally gained control over his creation, the last step was to destroy anyone and everyone who could possibly overthrow him. And what's the only way to do that? Blow up the Earth.So he probably figured out Maxis would send the rockets to Earth, so his last step was laid out for him. The destruction of Earth backfired on everyone, because nobody can stop him.

Adding Moon to the Call of Duty Wiki menu for Nazi Zombies

Hey guys, I think we need to add Moon to the Nazi Zombies menu on this web site since the menu ends at Shangri La.

I know we don't have a date, but I believe it should be sometime after Call of the Dead. Otherwise, there would be a major paradoxical plot hole. If they blew up Earth in 1970 (lets say), then they wouldn't be able to get the Golden Rod from Call of the Dead in 2012 (or whatever year it took place) because Earth was destroyed. i believe that they blew up earth in a parelel universe or something like that because on der reise they're ina a three pocket time gap(look at the clock at the spawn) and if 935 was hidden there where else for them to hide there space station than in a parelel dimension, MAJOR SPECULATION i KNOW but its theory.. thats all!

Yeah, I'll go with the paralel universe thing (so maybe in the next zombies, the characters go back in time to stop the world getting blown up, or something like that). Personally, I'd say this takes place in 1972 or later (after the final Moon landings), therefore explaining why we never returned to the Moon.

the date is 1960s since all the space race stuff of the cold war happened that age, ans since moon happens simultaneuosly with nuketown which we know dor sure is in the 60s. it cant be in the 1945, since dempsey states ' lets rock this party like its 1945'. and the fact that earth was destroyed doesnt mean the golden rod and the focusing stone got destroyed.

i found this glitch yesterday and i put it on the trivia section but it got deleted.im discussing this here so someone else go find it and prove im correct.

so , to do this you must first have a weapon which is NOT a pistol in your hands.it doesnt seem to work with those.not sure about others like ballistic knife , m72 or ... . i had a commando and HK21 in my inventory.i had the commando in my hands.you MUST have P.E.S in your disposal but NOT equiped.press rapidly up on the D-pad(x360).do this several times.the P.E.S animation gets broken.my character put away the commando and then had no guns.from third person i had a knife in my hands.my friends suggested to by a gun in that situation.i went and bought the MP5K.i had 3 guns and NO Mule kick!but then teddy bear laughs started to go off and each time 950 points were decreaased.then all my guns disappeared and ny character drew out his M1911!also i couldn't drew out my knife!it seems i gave my knife for the mp5!it looks like this glitch was set up so somes tries it !:D.THIS IS FOR REAL!

how to do richtofens grand scheme

step 1 turn on the power (obvius)

step 2 go back to the reciving area and right by the oliympia and you see 4 computers

step 3 play simon/sammantha sais left is red inner left is green inner right is blue right is yellow

step 4 once you compleated that let an excavater dig into tunnel 6

step 5 once it breached tunnel 6 ther will be a floating orb thingy

step 6 go to the orb and keep stabbing/shooting it and it will bounce all of the place when it stops stab/shoot it

step 7 when it goes ontop of the antenna ontop the recieving area get the wave gun and shoot it

step 8 youl notice that the orb is heading to the MDT/pyrimid

step 9 it will be stuck on some casing thing but stuck out

step 10 go to the labs and on the fierst floor ther will be 4 buttons on the wall

step 11 get the hacker

step 12 hack one of the buttons it cost 500 pts

step 13 ther will be control panels hanging out the walls you might notice them when you run arround the labs

step 14 use hacker on the pannels that have a glowing green light ontop

step 15 once you done them all in time the 4 buttons will have ther lid open push 4 of them at the same time but you can get 2 people to do this if your fast enough

step 16 youl know if you push them all correctly becuase they will be flashing rainbowy colours

step 16 go to the MDT/pyrimid and the orb will be inside the case

step 17 ther will be a tube sticking at of the right corner

step 18 get a new round and kill 25 zombies arround that tube

step 19 pull the leaver located right next to the tube

step 20 once pulled the earth will shake i meen the moon will shake and youl hear a hissing sound and the MDT/pirimid will open and you see jesus i meen sammantha rise and ther you compleated easter egg

Next Zombie Map after Moon

The next Zombie Map will most likely be in Paris,why did people remove my edit for the next zombie Map? Moon was originally going to be in Paris,and in the Paris Zombie Map,there should be French Civillian Zombies,Return of Female Zombies, return of Hellhounds,and GIGN Zombies,The zombies storyline is not over yet,remember the characters can use the MDT Teleporter to travel through time.By the way their should be a Easter Egg on the Paris Map and it requires the V-R11 and the Scavenger Sniper Rifle

Next level

I think it's time they post on this page that the next zombies map is called green run.

the next level is not Green Run, Its Tranzit, in regards of the storyline. Green run is Tranzit survival,grief, etc... they are not actual zombie levels. and since we say next level, i reckon you should say Tranzit instead. also considering the fact that the next maps are called Buried , mob of the dead , and die rise and not resolution 1295, alcatraz island,and great leap forward. Moon Wiki Page Mistake

No it didn't, Mule Kick isn't even on that vanilla map. It was only added after an update after the reception from being added on Moon.
