Untitled[]

Operation Kingfish interferes with the storyline. This happens between Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Captain Price is missing between this time, but still takes part in this mission.

No. Newer canon supersedes older canon. It's called a Retcon. Raven's wing Talk23:11, December 12, 2011 (UTC)

If I remember the storyline correctly, Price gets captured on Op Kingfish and made it out of the end of CoD4. Phillycj 23:15, December 12, 2011 (UTC)
Except we have no canon depiction of the operation. Raven's wing Talk23:17, December 12, 2011 (UTC)
Diego posted in IRC about a video proving the vid was canon. I think it was an interview. Phillycj 23:21, December 12, 2011 (UTC)
Interesting, as it gives inconsistencies in the storyline. (Why Soap didn't give his M1911 back to Price during Op: Kingfish, as opposed to in the gulag). Major oopsy on IW's part. --Iw5 cardicon soap Blemo progress-wheel.gif TALK CONTRIBUTIONSEMAILMESSAGE

Date[]

Is the date written in American - October 8th 2013 or British - August 10th 2013

As there are both British and Americans on this mission —Unsigned comment was added by A BL1ND K1D

I just did a bit of looking into this, and it doesn't look like it was ever specified. However, considering that Infinity Ward is an American company, from a production standpoint it's likely the date of October 8th was intended. Master SergeantSgt. ChiafriendRifleman 23:23, February 3, 2012 (UTC)

Members[]

I just wanna state one thing, the Members include Roach and Frost, read the credits, the credits state it, not you guys. Plus, they are easily seen in the video. Please don't remove the information-- thanks

How many times do you have to be told that's not canon before you stop treating it as such? Raven's wing Talk15:58, February 20, 2012 (UTC)

Of course its cannon, its part of the story. Am i missing anything :/ 90.207.97.93 16:18, February 20, 2012 (UTC)

We know the mission is canon, we're talking about the fan made film that claims Frost and Roach were there. Carb 0Stop CensorshipSOPA'd 16:19, February 20, 2012 (UTC)
(so yeah I'm just going to copy paste what I put on IRC)
Diegox223	the interview technically said that the first script the guys sent to Acti looked too much like MW3. So Acti, iirc, sent an idea for a script a while back
Diegox223	anyway
Diegox223	the Operation itself is canon
Diegox223	the film, is not
that's all what needs to be said.-Diegox223 Zed's dead, baby.Personal Diegox223 Deadpool logo16:30, February 20, 2012 (UTC)
Way to take the interview out of context. Dibol 23:21, May 2, 2012 (UTC)

Roach and Frost DID participate in the Operation. The credits say so. —Unsigned comment was added by Enraged Giga

I am making something like this, but it's before mw4. It's called Operation: Monarch
