Can someone try and get a screenshot of the springfields iron sights in world at war showing the real point of impact? I think this would really help bayonet users (like me =D). BR Ninja15 14:35, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Title[]
Is it necessary to put the suffix "rifle" in the title of the name? Why can't we just name it "Springfield M1903"? There aren't any other pages with Springfield in the name, as far as I know, so I think I should move the page. But, I need input first, so, tell me all about it. -- Ari "Akyoyo" MacIsaac · Talk 05:36, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
It's wrong even now. Rife should not be capitalized.
It's going by in-game name now, so it should just be Springfield. Thanks, Demon Magnetism :D (talk to me) 20:28, November 7, 2009 (UTC)
More facts[]
This article needs more facts on CoD2 and CoD3. Not just stubs Toilet Bowl Soldier 15:14, May 11, 2010 (UTC)
Wow, the springfield in COD3 looks sooooooo much more realistic than in th other games. Even in WaW, which is 2 years newer doesn't look near as realistic and polished as COD3's springfield. —Unsigned comment was added by Ganon51
Insta-Kill[]
Not sure why multiple claims have been made about the Springfield being a two-shot kill when Insta-Kill is active (on this wiki and outside of it). I assume this must be a joke or something (about its terribly low damage). Anyway, I tested this at round 19 in Nacht der Untoten and it was one shot. I was using the Springfield, and i got Insta-Kill, and it took me 2 shots to kill a zombie. It might have just been because i aimed for the body, and missed because of the sights, or the gun is just so weak that it is a 2 shot kill on Insta-Kill. The Iron Lancer (talk) 19:20, February 23, 2017 (UTC)
