I thought I'd add something about this mission. It's a bit of a glitch/cheat.

As most of you know, this level appears in the pre-release single player demo of Call of Duty. In the demo, friendly fire is permanently disabled.

If the player enters the "notarget" (Axis soldiers do not shoot the player) cheat into the console, the player can actually rush over to the German defenses, pick up a German weapon, and fight on the German side. There's no penalty for friendly fire, and the Germans will not shoot the player due to the cheat.

Note that the player must either wait for all the Germans to be killed, or finish them him or herself to advance the mission. In addition, the actual game level cannot be used in substitution due to the enabled friendly fire. 24.24.168.72 01:15, August 30, 2010 (UTC)
