Biography[]
The Marshal is mentioned by Alias and Deadman in the comics, having apparently shot down their supply drones and targeting their water condensers.
He is also mentioned by Ether to have accepted the Atlas Corporation contract to patrol the 'exclusion zone', together with his posse. Ether warns Alias that Atlas has most likely figured out where they've ran off to, and that they're not safe.
The Marshal soon arrives at their residence and announces through a loudhailer that he's going to give them an offer; if they refuse, he will "firebomb the whole kit n'kaboodle", while rambling on about why Atlas 'gives two squirts' about this 'dump'.
Following this, Alias goes outside to meet him, while calling him "Chunkzilla". The Marshal says the insult was uncalled for and tells her that Atlas Corporation has offered a "pretty penny" for her head, including a hefty bonus if they bring her in alive. However, he abruptly pulls a gun on her, saying "accidents do happen". But before he can shoot her, he gets his gun shot out of his hand by Ether, who had summoned a fleet of RCs and drones to attack them. A firefight erupts, the Marshal retreats to a tank and pursues the fleeing operators with his posse. In the ensuing fight, Ether is wounded by gunfire.
Just then, Deadman leaps from his vehicle to confront the Marshal. The Marshal pulls out his spike-tipped wooden club to attack Deadman, but he easily blocks and breaks the club, and the Marshal is swiftly knocked out by a punch. He, along with his posse, are apprehended shortly after.
