Changes: The Rhine (Final Fronts)

The Rhine is the tenth single player level in Call of Duty: World at War: Final Fronts.

Plot

Tom Sharpe assault a German checkpoint, destroy a Halftrack, attack a Flak 88 cannon and kill the gun crews of a Nebelwerfer. Then the player assaults a German ammo dump at the top of the big manor house. After that, the player uses an MG42 against Germans who attack and destroy a Halftrack. After the squad takes refuge in the remains of a mansion, you hold off incoming German troops with the help of a machine gun emplacement. Suddenly, the squad is under attack from two German Tiger tanks. The player then make one last push and destroy the tanks. At the end after destroying the last Tiger, reinforcements arrive to the words of "Here come the bloody cavalry." A cutscene the plays where Sgt. Mason says, "Beer's on me, as soon as we get to Berlin!"

Trivia

At the end, the two Tigers are called Panzers, although the model is clearly a Tiger, PANZER is the German word for TANK. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panzer
Panzer I and II were light tanks used primarily for training and in the early days of the war, basically carried machine guns (the I) and a 37mm gun (the II)
Panzer III and IV were upgunned to 75 mm and better armor, the IV becoming a mainstay of the Panzer Division
The Panzer V is better known as the Panther, long-barreled 75 mm gun, sloped armor, a fearsome opponent
The Panzer VI is the Tiger, 88 mm gun, almost impregnable.
It is possible to save Pfc. Murray, who gets killed by the Germans breaking into the house. When he says the Germans are breaking in, you must quickly run downstairs and kill Germans as quickly as possible. Strangely, he later dies for no apparent reason.

The Sergeant says, "This article needs more content, so stop messing around and add to it right now!"
