Plot[]

After his conversation with Col. Davis, Daniels decided to not head back home and attempts to re-enlist back into Pierson's Platoon for Zussman. Daniels approaches to a drunken Pierson and tries to convince him to let him back in the fight. Pierson refuses as he has no need for a soldier who won't follow orders, but Daniels told him that he also didn't follow orders back in the Kasserine Pass for not abandoning his men. Pierson was surprised, and he later gets hostile at Daniels as the latter refuses to give up. After calming down, Pierson confesses that didn't want leave behind his men trapped in the pass before telling Daniels to leave. As the two continue to argue, Daniels showed his honorable discharge papers signed by Davis before he tears it apart, showing that he's not ready to leave, leaving Pierson in disbelief. After some time to think, Pierson decided to re-enlist Daniels back into his Platoon before walking away.

The next day, the 1st Infantry Division attack the German soldiers in Remagen to prevent the bridge into the Rhine from being destroyed. The Platoon reaches and clears out a tower filled with hostiles. Once they regroup on the main level of the tower, the squad proceeds to cross the bridge while pushing through hostiles. As they cross, the Germans detonated the charges, but the bridge still stand as Howard and his engineers manage to defuse several charges from being detonated. However, the German Stukas started a bombing run at the bridge in an attempt to blow it up. After crossing the damage bridge, the squad heads in, clears out another tower, and fight through the trenches to reach the AA guns to take out the planes before the bridge is completely destroyed. After the planes are neutralized, the Platoon proceed to a tunnel and clear out the German soldiers making their last stand before the remaining fighters surrender to them as they successfully defended the bridge and cross into the Rhine. While the surrendered German soldiers are escorted away, Pierson informs his squad of POW camps in the area as they wait for clearance to search them for survivors and Zussman.
