The Square is a multiplayer map in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: Defiance, taking place in a central city square.

As the name may suggest the map is a square shaped map and consists of various staircases and walkways. There is also the open square in the middle that provides open combat to any players within it.

Two building have been used as snipers tower that could provide almost nearly excellent down view over the square and decent nice protection, also except against each other since all both are down directly opposite across each other. Although new to new players reaching these towers may be also a challenge as the player can only access them by finding a clandestine secret passageway, one for each diagonal tower.
