The Thermite Reload is an ammunition attachment featured in Call of Duty: Mobile.
Thermite Reload[]
- "Continuously burn targets and cause extra damage to Scorestreaks."
- — Gunsmith description
The attachment is available to the Kilo Bolt-Action, added in November 2020 as part of the Season 12: Going Dark update.
Although the Kilo Bolt-Action will no longer be able to achieve one-hit kills right away due to unstated damage reduction, the bullet will deal continuous damage to the enemy it hits, resulting in the kill as long as it does not hit the legs. It can also damage enemies, as well as the shooter themself, within its small radius.
In addition, the attachment increases damage multipliers (which, once again, is hidden) by rising everywhere, minus the head and legs, to 1.4x, at the cost of being no longer able to penetrate obstacles, and the reduction of ADS speed, fire rate and vertical recoil control.
Thermite Ammo[]
- "Burns continuously upon impact, causing additional damage and reducing movement speed."
- — Gunsmith description
The attachment is also available to the Man-O-War under the name Thermite Ammo, added in March 2024 as part of the Season 3: Vintage Vigilance update.
Similar to the Kilo Bolt-Action's, the Man-O-War will have ability to deal continuous damage to anyone surrounding it at the cost of unable to penetrate obstacles. However, the rifle, being full-auto, is also, and more effective at destroying most Scorestreaks.
In term of drawbacks, it has a hidden damage multiplier penalty, which reduces head multiplier from 1.36x to 1.26x in Multiplayer and from 1.1x to 1x in other non-Zombies modes. Furthermore, the magazine capacity is lowered to 15, and change the starting and maximum reserves to 80 and 160 respectively. Finally, while the bullet velocity reduction is not something worth to be concerned about in Multiplayer due to the gun being hit-scan there, it could prove to be a problem in other modes like Battle Royale and Ground War: Breach, where Man-O-War has bullet speed stat.
