Captain Thomas Gregg is a minor character featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. He appears in the map Terminus as part of the Treasure Hunter Side Easter Egg.
Biography[]
Captain Thomas Gregg was an United States Merchant Marine who lost everything after his crew betrayed him and stole his treasure, a collection of gold cursed coins. Gregg was left to die in the sea caves within Terminus Island, and his corpse would be hidden from view due to the formation of the caves, until much later in February 1991 when he was discovered by the ex-Requiem team. Gregg's soul, somehow still bound to his physical corpse, spoke to the team, and said he was not accepting visitors until he got back his items.
Later, the team recovered a wristwatch out in the sea, which belonged to Gregg. They brought the watch back to Gregg's location, prompting him to reveal his backstory. Gregg then requested the Requiem team to find the remains of his former crew mates and burn them to ashes. After doing so, they were rewarded with the contents of Gregg's treasure chest which laid next to his corpse.
