The Thug is an Epic melee weapon featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered that was added in the March 14th, 2017 update.
It is only available through opening supply drops in the Depot or through purchase using 3,600 Parts. The Thug is functionally identical to the Knife. However, unlike the Knife, the Thug can be equipped in a matter similar to that of the Combat Knife featured in previous installments. The Thug resembles that of a multi-purpose tool, as a combination of an axe, wrench, and a hammer.
When being inspected, the player will flip the Thug, tap it on their hands twice, then resume to wield it. After killing an enemy with the Thug, the Thug becomes coated in blood.
It is a part of the Boss collection.

Trivia
- "TKT2000 MULTITOOL SYSTEM" can be seen engraved on the top of the Thug.
- If the player kills someone with the Thug before taking it out to equip it, the original animation will not play, and the weapon will simply be drawn out of the player's inventory.
- The player will perform a melee attack with the blunt side of the Thug, as opposed to the sharp side. Despite this, the blood that appears on the Thug will be more concentrated to the blade as opposed to the hammer end.
