Trials is a multiplayer game mode featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The gametype is very similar to the Classic Special Ops Mission mode, where players can earn up to 3 stars depending on their performance of fast-paced objective-driven missions.
Completing these trials rewards XP for further level progression in Multiplayer.
In order to play, Tickets must be earned by leveling up multiplayer seasonal ranks (starting from level 56 onwards). Every trial costs 1 token to start the mission. During the trial, 3 attempts will be given to complete it.
Every mission has 2-3 loadout variants, which can be selected before spending up the tickets to start the trial. To obtain stars, it is necessary to finish the objective in a specific time limit or a certain amount of score must be achieved in order to get them, much like spec ops missions.
