Plot[]
The final mission opens up with a congressional hearing. Where Congressman Huston questions Herschel Shepherd about whether Farah Karim and the Urzikstan Liberation Force are terrorists or not. Shepherd promptly dismisses, stating that they always have been American allies. Huston then moves on and asks Shepherd about the ULF's acquisition of American missiles. To which Sheperd calmly answers that to save lives, he has been sending illegal shipments of the missiles with funds that he commissions himself, which shocks everyone in the room. Shepherd is then questioned about the incident that occurred in October of 2022 in Las Almas, where he ordered Phillip Graves alongside his Shadow Company to fire on Task Force 141. He denies having issued the order, much to Kate Laswell's shock as an agreement was reached that Shepherd would tell Congress everything. Huston then questioned Graves whether he was given the orders to use lethal force against Task Force 141. He responded that he was given those orders and when asked who gave them, he said: General Herschel Shepherd. This further shocked everyone and the room was filled with whispers, Graves went on to state that he did not act on Shepherd's order.
With Graves and Shepherd stabbing each other in the back, Task Force 141 and Farah watched the hearing as they prepared to down Makarov. Laswell receives information from the MI6 that Makarov and Konni Group are in London, finding out that they are meeting up with a hacker. Pursuing the individual, Ghost is on CCTV whilst Gaz and Soap, blending in, are tracking the hacker down. Soap manages to overhear the conversation and receive the location of the buyer. Breaching into the tunnel, the team manages to kill the buyer and acquire the flash drive.
However, what is on it - a Trojan horse virus, was uploaded onto the train network, granting Konni control of the trains. Makarov is then spotted boarding a train to the channel tunnel, which prompts Task Force 141 and SFO to intervene to prevent his plan of taking over the channel tunnel and destroying it from coming to fruition. Task Force 141 along with SFO approaches the service entrance. The team split up with Gaz, Ghost, the SFO Leader taking one side and Price, Soap, alongside the rest of the SFO on the other. The tunnel is run through with trains as an effort from Konni to slow down Task Force 141. After intense shootouts with Konni contractor and an attempt to pursue Makarov until he is killed, Price and Soap end up on a bomb being guarded. Whilst Soap works on disarming the bomb, more Konni contractors attack them as Price attempts to provide cover and call for reinforcements, from Gaz and Ghost, as the SFOs that went along him and Soap are K.I.A.
After providing the manufacturing logo and serial number to Soap, Price is just about to defuse the bomb when Makarov and his men ambush them. Ordering his men to stay back and leave his enemies to him, Makarov shoots both Soap and Price in the shoulder. As Soap seems to be knocked out, Makarov pins Price down and prepares to execute him with a taunt to take with him to hell: "Never bury your enemies alive". Soap was able to get up and stab Makarov in the shoulder, but Makarov twisted his arm and shot him straight in the head. Soap falls to the ground, dead, as Price screams in anguish. Gaz and Ghost then arrive with reinforcements and open fire, forcing Makarov to flee. With Soap K.I.A and Ghost over his body, Gaz and Price manage to disarm the bomb as they look over their downed member.
Laswell writes a report of the mission, recalling and redacting information. Makarov is taken down as injured and his status and location are unknown. As the report concludes, Laswell finishes it off with the K.I.A - John 'Soap' MacTavish.
Price, Gaz, and Ghost travel the highlands of Scotland as they mourn the loss of a member and friend. As they remember him, Ghost takes out an urn containing Soap's ashes, and the three look into the distance as they let the ashes fly in the wind.
Sometime later, Shepherd is seen walking into his office after dark. As he turns on the light, Price emerges from the shadows. Shepherd asks how he got in, to which Price responds to with 'a mutual friend' - Laswell. Attempting to reach for his gun under the desk, Price steps up pulling out his own. The two confront each other for a long moment, before Price fires a shot at Shepherd's head, killing him.

Trivia[]
- The name of the mission is a reference to Trojan Horse, a malware that misleads users of its true intent by disguising itself as a standard program.
- In the Mission Select menu, only Soap and Price are listed as the playable characters in this mission, despite the fact that Ghost is also playable.
- At the congressional hearing in the opening cutscene, Hutson claims Shadow Company engaged Task Force 141 in October 2022, despite the incident occurring in November 2022.
- The dog that can be petted at the start of the mission is named Riley. This is a reference to the dog Riley from Call of Duty: Ghosts.
- Despite the SAS being present in the first half of the mission, the chyron does not mention them.
- The second half of the mission features a chyron of its own, calling it "Countdown" with Price as the playable character. However, this part of the mission cannot be accessed from the campaign menu.
- The chyron also incorrectly states the mission in set London, while it actually takes place in the Channel Tunnel.
- The second half of the mission features a chyron of its own, calling it "Countdown" with Price as the playable character. However, this part of the mission cannot be accessed from the campaign menu.
- Laswell misspells led as "lead" multiple times in her after-action report. The after-action report also states that the executing unit for the operation was the SAS, despite it being Task Force 141.
- The RGL-80 that can be found in this mission can't be refilled by any means.
- If the Konni personnel execute the civilians, two SFO will appear and fight the group.
