The DG-56 is used by Price as his secondary weapon in the second half of Trojan Horse.

The DG-56 can be brought into Operation Deadbolt via Create-A-Class, at Common rarity and can be found at any rarity via the Mystery Box for 950 Essence. When upgraded via the Pack-a-Punch Machine or with Aetherium Crystals, it becomes the Degenerator 5800.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III[]
- The DG-56 was originally called DG-58 with the game release. The name was changed following the Season One update.
- In the campaign, the weapon is still referred to as the “DG-58”.
- The "Brogue" blueprint, features an homage to Soap, in the shape of a Scottish flag printed on the body, and a carving of the words "FOR JOHNNY" on the breech of the rifle.[1]
