The United States Army Air Force  (USAAF) was the air force of the United States of America during World War II. It was disbanded shortly after World War II and the United States Air Force was formed.

Call of Duty: Big Red One

"Stretch" Roger is a playable character of the mission Liberators, who was a B-24 bombardier of the USAAF 'B' Flight number 1 crew. Roberts, Johnson, Van Buren, Dunne, Jon Elliot and Schreibner were also in the crew and seen in the mission.

Call of Duty:WWII

Campaign

In the mission "Battle of Bulge", the 1st Infantry Division requests air support from 509th Fighter Squadron. The player assumes control of Second Lieutenant Matthew Weber as he protects bombers from enemy attacks.

Multiplayer

The USAAF is also a faction available for use in multiplayer. It is usable via the uniform selection if the player is using the Airborne Division and is on the Allied Powers team.
