The Urzikstan Liberation Force (ULF) or Urzik Militia is a resistance militia organization based in Urzikstan featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The ULF is led by Farah Karim, one of the protagonists of the story.
Formed in response to the occupation of the country by Russia, the Urzikstan Liberation Force roughly consists of a group of over 7,000 volunteer freedom fighters who are determined to free their country from foreign subjugation and to combat the domestic terrorist organization known as Al Qatala. To accomplish their goals, the ULF would often fight alongside and receive support from both the United Kingdom and the United States. On October 30, 2019, the United States lists the ULF as a terrorist organization due to suspicion of harboring chemical weapons. The ULF in response cuts ties with the West except for the United Kingdom.
The Russian government condemns the Liberation Force as a terrorist organization, due to their continued resistance to the occupation. Russian forces have been directed by General Roman Barkov to make no distinction between Al-Qatala terrorists and the liberation forces directly under Karim's command.
However, a few members of its ranks, up to including Farah herself, seems to have joined the Russian-led Allegiance coalition forces under the banner of Chimera, implying that they have been pardoned by Russian government sometimes after the events of the Campaign and are now working with Chimera along with other Allegiance affiliated groups such as the Jackals and Urzik Special Service Group in keeping the security in Urzikstan after Barkov's demise.
