The strange obsession of using "Note the", "Note that", and variations in this wikia
For wikia editing purposes, it's never necessary to say "note the" and variations in a sentence. Think about it. Saying, for example, "Note that the Barret .50 cal has more recoil than any other sniper rifle" gives the reader the exact same information as "The Barret .50 cal has more recoil than any other sniper rifle". It's always redundant in the cases where I edit it, every single time.
It's best to convey as much information in as few words as possible, to make it convenient for readers. Therefore, using "Note the" is, in my opinion, out of place on wikia's, especially this one where it seems that you find one example of this per page.
