Did you ever want to unlock one of those Elite weapon variants, like the Bal-27 - Obsidian Steed or the ASM1 - Squeakeasy, but you can never seem to get it from the Supply Drops? Well, Sledgehammer Games has implemented a way in Advanced Warfare for the player to acquire some of these variants. For those who aren't fond of prestiging however, you should leave now.
As most should know, there is the master prestige rank obtained after reaching prestige 15. The player is now able to prestige after that still for another 15 times. Every prestige from that point on will grant the player an elite variant. It should be noted that all of these master prestiges will not reset attachments and challenges! Once the player has prestiged an additional 15 times, they will reach Grand Master Prestige. The list of what elite weapons are unlocked and the icons for the master prestiges are shown below.
In addition, upon reaching the Grand Master Prestige rank, the player will unlock the Grand Master Prestige character gear.
An exact release date for these changes is yet to be said, although it is expected to be released sometime this month.
